It's Thursday evening in Calif. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow (Fri, Oct 23). But UPS says still waiting for package. Apparently shipping from Tennessee. I'm beginning to get a bad feeling about any delivery tomorrow.

Edit: See, no sooner did I post when it changed to shipped.

Broke down and ordered the Sky Blue 256GB version from AT&T. I’d been checking their website everyday multiple times a day and they finally made it available to order tonight.

Estimated delivery between Nov 2 and 9. Maybe I’ll get lucky and it’ll arrive sooner.

I was debating between this and next year’s Pro, but the reviews for this have been quite favorable and I’d rather not speculate about what Apple is doing next, and instead just focus on what’s out now.

Can’t wait for this new (to me) design. I’d have liked a Mini variant, but then again, not if they keep it at 7.9”. I want a screen that’s a little bigger than what the current Mini offers, and the edge-to-edge designs don’t get any smaller than this 10.9” option.

I think I’ll be quite pleased.

Ordered the baseline silver wifi iPad Air last week. Shipped yesterday from Eindhoven. Went from Eindhoven to Brussels, caught the airplane to Amsterdam overnight (it most likely flew over my house) and now it's out for delivery. Marvels of logistics I guess..

Gifting it to my mom later today and will have her choose a case, which I'll probably pick up tomorrow at The Hague Apple Store.

Its arrived! My partner is so thrilled. Its very sleek. Its doing all its updating/transferring stuff at the moment.

My original ship date was November 3-5 for 256 space gray iPad Air 4 WiFi only that is replacing my six year old iPad air 2. On Wednesday it went to preparing for shipping. I just checked UPS my choice and it’s apparently being delivered on Wednesday, October 28th. I guess it’s coming from China. I thought since Apple had sent so many stateside ahead of the launch it was c9ming from somewhere in the US. I’m just happy it’s coming a week earlier than originally expected. New black smart folio will be here today!!!

Well I’ve learned to never preorder products from any other retailer. I preordered my iPad Air 64 GB Space Gray within the first hour of it being available on Walmart.com. Still not tracking and with a delivery by the 27th. Today, I could order a Silver 64 GB and get it in two days.
I think I’ll start preordering on Apple’s store from now on.

However, you do get a $40 discount at Walmart and Amazon (some colors), which to me is well worth the potential extra wait. Just ordered today the silver 64gb on Amazon for $559 for deliver Sunday.

A lot of „shady“ business going on here in Germany. All those 3rd party retailers (something like bestbuy) had them all listed until yesterday for pre-order and even in-Store pick up and come release it all switched to November 23 online. They even still listed some colors as in-store pick up today. I ordered it at the beginning of this week and still no pick up notification so I went to amazon and it’s being delivered tmrw!

so much for trying to support retail stores

There are some available at my local Best Buy too for in store pickup.

Yeah, Best Buy here had them listed all week as a PRE-ORDER for DELIVERY ONLY. Now I look and they have some in stock for in store pick up today lol

Mine arrived in Rome, Italy a couple of hours ago and is all set up. It's quick! The screen looks great even if not 120 hertz. Just noticed that the Smart Folio provides less coverage for the sides and corners compared to my old Pro. Overall, very pleased.

That’s true. I’m just extremely impatient. Especially when Walmart charged my card on the 15th and still no updates.

Exactly! The same thing here too. I checked all of the retailers just to see and I truly don’t understand what they are doing. I feel cheated having to wait longer when I placed my order 8 days ago.

In same boat with Costco, Ordered on 16th charged on 16th and no progress, warehouse or Costco online customer service has no information on whats going on.

from the pictures the blue looks barely blue. kind of dissapointing. maybe it is better in person. I agree in the picture it looks very pale

If it showed a ship by date on the site when you went to place the order. If that day passes. Call their customer service and claim false advertisement. It should help you get things rolling if it doesn’t update for you before then.
