Finally got in at 5:02 and ordered the Sky Blue 256GB WiFi.

Yep got in on time and got the blue 64 wifi. Now I'm trying to get pencil 2 and the checkout is loading slowly with errors. Looks like it was a good idea to be there exactly at 5am.

Green one for me - picking it up on Saturday morning because sometimes our deliveries go missing, the Apple store is 10 mins walk from my house and.. I have to work all day Friday!

Yeah, I ended up having to open Safari browser to log in and purchase from Apple.com
Google Chrome was giving my shopping bag a Gateway Timeout over and over. Purchases through Safari gave no issue at all. Delivery is same day...lol, nvm...waiting around made me forget what date it is, lol?! That's unexpected.

Well, it's finally done. Just ordered two (one for me and one for my brother) through the education site, along with a couple of folio cases.

Done for the Rosegold however the funny thing is I took the app 100 times to get it kind of crazy also the store on my end is still down you have to order from the app go figure

What a clusterF. I am trading in my old iPad Pro 9.7 . From my iMac, 5 minutes of "finishing touches" then at the ipad serial number "try your request later" x 10, then bad gateway, then waiting for "xp.apple.com" then "Oooops!" Finally I gave up and went to the Apple Store app on my ipad, 4 or 5 more minutes of slowness, then finally made it to Apple Pay and the date is now Nov-3-5 standard delivery since I didn't want to pay the 8$ for getting it one day sooner. Then since I had a session from the iMac the total was for two iPads! Deleting took a couple more minutes. Then Apple Pay at first declined my charge , tried again and it went through. Sigh. 25 minutes of cr*p. Sorry for all the "thens" it's early and I am sleepy.

P.S. The reason I didn't want to use the Apple Store app first was that I didn't want to have to type the trade-in serial number or buffer it up. I had the S/N waiting to be pasted on the iMac. It didn't matter! The Apple store app on the iPad asked if the trade in was the device I was on, cool, no S/N tomfoolery. Wish I had known that at 5AM! Still P'oed I am not in the 23Oct delivery group.

I had a horrible experience with trying to order my new iPhone and iPad air. I finally got through but my delivery date says November 2nd-4th

It's only been on sale for 45 minutes and Apple gave no warning that it would be available today, so most people who don't frequent Apple websites like us probably don't even know. Plus, Apple has had a long time to build up stock. If it ws sold out already that would be ridiculous!

I got two ordered at 5:32 for delivery Nov. 2-4 (United States). One blue and one green, both with 256 and cellular.

I got a ton of gateway errors. Finally got to my shopping bag on one browser and it had 11 ipads in it! (Every time I got a gateway error it would go back and I'd add it again because my bag showed empty.) By the time I got that one to finally show the right amount, I was able to check out on another browser.

Hurrah... just in time, because his air 2 is on its very last leg.

Now that the new screen technology was launched for iPhone 12. Is it even worth it to get one now? Really was going to buy the new Air, but 4x stronger screen is hard to miss out on.

Nice score Perry. That’s an iPad Pro 2018? I’m hoping someone will run the test on a 2020 iPad Pro with the A12Z. I’d like to see how the A12X compares to the A12Z and really looking forward to see how the A14s stack up.

Just ordered the Silver 64GB wifi as a birthday present for my Mom. It'll replace her 4 year old iPad mini she has been complaining about for a couple of months now.

Delivery to The Netherlands, October 23rd, right in time for her B'day.
