Out of curiosity I asked if I could add engraving w/o negatively affecting delivery time snd was told no (I could add it but it might delay 2–3 weeks). That’s for one that’s currently scheduled to deliver 6/9–23.
Two to three weeks. What do they do, one letter a Day

Mine just updated to preparing.

My 12.9 256gb engraved has also moved to preparing to ship. My dev dates are may24-jun1.

Ordered mine as soon as it went live to add to cart ~830 EST. Choosing engrave option made shipping timeframe 2 weeks sooner than without.

Did you engrave yours as well?

Edit: never mind... I thought your iPad was preparing to ship. I must be delusional. iPad needs to be here quick
I did get it engraved.

In the description it says “your item is being prepared for shipment”…but now I see what you mean. Someone else’s had the meter at “preparing to ship.” Wonder what the difference is?

They charged my credit card today. Guessing preparing for shipment might mean “we’re engraving”? Who knows haha

12.9/256/WiFi/Silver/Not Engraved. Ordered about 15 mins after pre-orders started (was a second order to get my education discount). Still 'Processing'. Hopefully later this week as others have said.

Late to the party but just ordered silver/12.9/256GB 5G from o2. Delivery within 6 weeks. I’m hoping they get stock release day so I get it sooner

One thing that I was curious about, for those fortunate enough to secure the “earliest” delivery window of May 21-27, was how quickly you got your orders in on April 30? I’m assuming that you had to be within 15 minutes of when the site was open for preorders.

I‘m particularly referring to those orders directly from Apple, for any of the 12.9” models.

I was about 1/2 hour “late”, but the window was still showing as June 4th to 10th, and that’s for 512 GB of storage, space grey. I’m in Canada, btw.

I ordered a 12.9 256GB WiFi/5g in Space Grey about 3 minutes after ordering opened up on April 30. My delivery window is May 21 - May 28. No engraving, still in Order Processing status.

12.9" Space Gray Wifi 1TB
May 26 - Jun 2 (Germany)
My confirmation E-Mail came in 13 minutes after ordering opened up. Had problems like most of us, because i added the iPad and the MKB. Should've ordered the keyboard separately.
Got the second shipping window.
