I'm right there with ya... This has been an odd release. Only time will tell if the Delivery date will stick.

You and me are in the same delivery pattern, I feel for the people who got bumped to a few weeks later. Let's hope they move up too.
I'm hoping the dates change when they get to Louisville or our local UPS Center.

My delivery date slipped from May 21-28 to June 1-June 8 for my 12.9" Space Gray 256 GB WiFi Only. Ordered within the first 10 minutes too.

That‘s concerning, and at least a couple of others have reported similar slippage issues, in posts made today. Is this a sign that Apple is having issues meeting delivery timeframes, or possibly a simple glitch?

If you haven’t already, I think it’s definitely worthwhile getting in touch with Apple to find out what is going on. I hope that they can give you some answers, and straighten things out.

My 1TB 12.9” slipped. I chatted and got the usual “we’re making them as fast as we can make them” response. Strangely he didn’t seem to believe that I originally had a better ETA. I haven’t been able to call (at work) but hope it’s a glitch and it improves soon.

I don't really care when I get my iPad Pro since I also order the new siri remote which is expose to be delivered May 24 to June 1st I order the remote on April 30, and order the iPad on May 3 and got the 21 to the 28 timeframe, I would be nice if both come on the 21st or the 24th

It doesn’t sound very promising. Too bad that you couldn’t have shown the rep a screenshot of your original order that has your original delivery window. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that it’s indeed a glitch, and that your order returns to its original status.

If we see other members posting about order slippage times, then it will be obvious that Apple is having problems fulfilling the preorders as originally
planned.

I assume that you’re in the USA.

(Mine isn’t supposed to arrive until June 4-10, btw, and I’m in Canada.)

I know that they likely won’t get delivered prior to release day. I was framing the answer around whatever day they arrive..whether it is Friday, Saturday, Monday, etc..

Apple aside, early delivery has never been UPS’ issue for me. They could have it Baldwin Park (local delivery point) 3days early and it still won’t get here ‘til the day UPS originally decided it would arrive. At least for “typical” packages.

I’m still interested in hearing how tracking goes for any Canadians who have had their orders shipped, what route it takes, and whether tracking is available from China, or whether it’s only available from Toronto onwards.

For folks in the western half of USA, UPS has two flights departing Anchorage in the next three hours to Ontario, California. UPS has a massive distribution center nearby.
That's not the way it works for large shipments in the past. They all go to Louisville first, clear Customs then get broken down. It'll probably sit there for a few days before it gets sent on to Ontario.

Actually, that's a pointless idea. Those people on the phones have no better idea than we do what's going on.

It’s in Alaska!

Hi- is anyone still show they arrived and departed China on the 14th? With no new movement since then? Starting to be concerned so I thought I would ask.
Mine arrived in ZhengZhou friday the 14th and hasn’t updated since. Good to know I’m
not the only one. Still says 5/22 estimated delivery though

Did anyone here preorder from Costco ? Got my order confirmation on May 3rd. No update on shipping/delivery dates yet

What about New York?

Operating from memory, it was either the last Apple Watch and/or iPhone orders:

Shipments headed to the western half go to Ontario, the eastern half goes to Louisville. Why go ~4k miles if you don't have to? It was a while ago, so reality may vary.

It's like anticipating a birth: The iPhone (baby) will come.

ETA: NM, the latest update would indicate the shipment is aboard UPS 99, headed to Louisville.
