Speculation it could be more like next week. I suspect our date is the same as the US ship dates for the 3G and Apple may we waiting for 14 days after the launch of the original wifi one there to reduce the number of returns.
Ebay
OK, after serious consideration I am pleased to now rule out ebay.
Last week I was really tempted, but we are now a max of 2 weeks and 4 days away from release (assuming that they dont delay which I dont think they will).
I can wait that out.
Hoping to order online in advance, but hey I am sure it will be in my hands within 3 weeks whatever happens.
Each to their own, but I really cant see the point of going the ebay route now. Different if you are getting one brought back from the states as you could possibly save money, but no point paying the UK price or more likely higher to get it a couple of weeks early.

So we wont get the iPads but at least they can begin pre-ordering in April so we were semi-close

However there are posters on here now bordering on sad.
Apple must be wetting themselves if they read some of this rubbish. They must know if they released a new pair of socks, they'd cause a frenzy among some people. Get a life guy in a months time anyone that wants one will have one and you can use them to start a stream of posts waiting for the launch of the new iPhone. This really is hilarious

Well, I'm happy that at 37 I can still get over excited about a new product that will improve on the experience I already have in my daily life. I plan to use my ipad for a variety of things that any current product I own doesn't quite fit the bill for in one way or another. And those things are important to me. So I am very keen to get going with that.
Strong emotions are good. It proves you're still alive. I expect the people you refer to as "sad" are as emotionally involved with all other areas of their lives, too. Good for them.

Yeah none of us have received emails , each time i come in from work i refresh the itouch email hoping to see a email for apple pop up !
Guys I think we will know by Saturday about prices so lets just sit tight and hold onto the bars in this rollercoaster of a ride apple seems to be taking us on .
