ipad Pro at starbucks

Depends on what angle you're looking at it from.
If you're ONLY looking at it from a Performance perspective, then no. You're not going to notice any performance improvements (namely because your Air 2 is still more then sufficient).
Experience features that DO make it worth it (mileage depending):
- The Pencil - this is HUGE (though it may not matter to everybody)
- Larger screen size - more "immersive"
- Quad speakers - like night and day between the Air 2 and the Pro
True, though I rarely use their WiFi because it's so freakin slow!

Noise canceling headphones are your friend.
Yeah, their free 56kbps dial-up wifi is great. It takes 5 minutes to load the Google home page.

In the United States at least, you have no expectation of privacy in a public place. A photographer only has to use a model release if they intend to sell the photograph, or use it in a commercial campaign/product, etc.
Deliberately stalking people, kids, is another story.
I wasn't talking about legalities of photographers or the common person just a courtesy of common sense and respect to children and their parents; as I am a parent myself and was very created out when my son was young and publicly photographed, that's all.

I totally understand the feeling, but I also see absolutely nothing wrong (be it legally, or morallly) with the posted pic. Reasonably you can't expect people not to post pictures with other people (including children) in it. As long as (a) the children are not the focus, (b) it's a public place, and (c) the photo isn't being sold, there's nothing wrong with posting the pic.
OP is correct. You're not supposed to bring the 12.9 iPad Pro to Starbucks unless your want to look weird.
Lol, okay, charging the Apple Pencil may get a few awkward stares. I am not sure what Apple was thinking with that one.
I think you are right because a dude came and looked at me and my iPP then stand behind me I looked around and asked him with my sign language "why are you look at me like that?" I don't know what his answer is. I think I will leave my iPP in my backpack and use my 8" LG tablet instead.
He was probably looking because he thought it was cool/interesting and wanted to confirm what make and model it was. I know I never give electronics a second look if I find them anything other than cool.

I live in west Denver and the Starbucks I frequent has pretty legit download speeds. I used to spend a lot of time there when I had to deal with satellite internet. Steam would frequently report a download speed of 5-6 MB/s, and most of the ones I've gone to at least are capable of 1 MB/s (note, I mean MegaBYTE and not megabit.)
In other news, I got personally escorted out for pulling out the iPP in a Starbucks. They said it was just too weird and I was scaring the children.

I wouldn't stare, but I'm totally the guy who checks out people's tech/gadgets in public. If I see someone using an iPad in public, just out of curiousity, I try to identify what model it is.
While trying to go to sleep at 3am, I randomly thought of this thread and laughed as I remembered seeing a guy several years ago in Starbucks with an iMac. Here are a couple of random photos that will contribute to the absurdity of this thread.
I used to bring my MacBook Pro to the coffee shop but that stopped after I got an iPad Pro + Apple Keyboard. (Hope to get a magic keyboard soon)

Currently in Starbucks, iPad Pro 12.9 at home, Asus white laptop here as my white Macbook for the less observant.
Guy over from me on a iPad Pro 12.9 and he is so engrossed i'm jealous. After i do my usual i'm just clicking around till the wife texts she is done.
OT. This place needs table service. I have to pack up and possibly lose my keenly observed plug access seat to top up my coffee! I'm downstairs as there is no seating up there...

I do not have a Pro but a Mini 4 and I use it all the time. My GF and I just did a 3000 mi road trip to the southern tip of Texas and back. We stopped exclusively at Starbucks all along the way to book motels and all of them were all Google Starbucks which I assume means they are using google broadband, which was really damn fast, this was even available in the smallest of towns in Texas.
One of the best things about places like Starbucks or McDonald's is they are all the same no matter where you go and a lot of people think that sucks, but once you start traveling around you can appreciate when you need wifi or a food you know.
I was in Chile two years ago and the Starbucks there was exactly like here, wifi and all.
