ipad Pro at starbucks

At least an iPad Pro gives you a little extra room to work at those tiny little tables (I'll take a library or a booth at Panera over a cramped Starbucks any day)! Seriously though..iPad embarrassment? I have nieces who do all their school work on iPads. They're everywhere. If you have work to do, you shouldn't be worried about what people are thinking..Get to work! ;)

Assuming thats in the US it doesn't matter. Laws on photographing people only matter to cases where there is an "expectation of privacy" i.e. locker room, bathroom, changing room, through a window into a private residence, etc etc. If everyone here could have been there to see that then a picture even if its posted publicly is completely fine.

Gonna be to each their own here. I'd gather to some its just a it big for those quick runs.

I just thinks its funny one of my supervisors has the 12 and brings ye old pen and paper to meetings and such (our managers office not the most spacious when the gang piles up) and I kick it with the 9.7. Why I got it...makes it more useful to me as I don't always work in spacious environments. To each their own like said as always applies here.
 
Obviously, you can bring the Pro 12.9" anywhere. It's bigger but hardly impossible.

So what if the OP has seen little that size at his Starbucks...I'm sure they're out there.

If the 12.9" iPad draws any attention it is probably out of curiosity than anything else.

Embarrassing? I seriously doubt it.

Why Starbucks & not a more bespoke local brand?
Only corporate coffee places have rules about what size iPad is proper decorum.
The iPad etiquette at real coffee houses is the wild wild west!!! You can use LCARS if you want.

Only our forum member bensisko is using LCARS these days, but he is special anyway!

I bring my TRS-80 Model IV luggable computer with me to the local shop!

The Coffee Bean store have so many people with powerful Razer gaming laptops! I saw a young corporation lady with Razer laptop and she is not playing hardcore game???? :)

If I could stomach Windows I would have a razer. They are damn sexy machines
