Wonder if any of the lovely macrumors people can help me out... I’ve been following this thread for a while, I ordered an 11” iPP 128gb WiFi only space grey (not engraved) on the 22/8, estimated delivery 16/9-23/9, which means the first day of the delivery window is today (I’m in the UK).

My order is still in processing. Should I be worried? Just reading the previous replies to this thread and the person who had their delivery date extended by almost a month has got me worried that the same might happen to me, especially since we had the same delivery dates before.

IDK. I’ve always done the same thing with my phones, too. My XS Max is 2 years old this month, and battery capacity is at 94%. I don’t think that’s too terrible.

I have an 11 pro max (bought november 2019) and battery capacity still 100%. I charge it every night with an iphone 5w charger, so it's a nice slow charge. Also have the charging optimisation turned on.

I'ver ordered the exact same as you the day after and I am also from the UK. Still on processing! I have an issue as I'm not sure if I should change the delivery address since I move to university on the 19th, just worried I'll change it and then it will arrive there before I do.

Ah thank you! Glad to see I’m not the only one. I would like to hope that it would come before the 19th but I’m not sure now...

I never wireless charge since I saw a pattern with my 8plus Vs my wife's 8. I wireless charged and she didn't. My battery life went down a lot faster than hers.

Also, I just don't really have a need for wireless or fast charge. I've only fast charged twice - once just to see how fast it was, and one time when I really needed a charge and I was heading out in half an hour.

My XS Max has never had a charging cable plugged into it. I’ve always charged it wirelessly. I’ve been using a Samsung wireless charging stand, and I love it. I put away all my others.

All my devices are set to trickle charge as it is healthier for the life of the battery. My Samsung devices can have the fast charging disabled. If I need fast charging, I will enable it on an as-needed basis but since I'm home most of the time due to COVID, does this even happen??

Haven't received my IPP yet, but can fast charging be disabled as well? If not, I have lower watt chargers available. Also, can you also set the maximum charge level like 80% or 90%? Also healthier for the battery.

You can’t. I would recommend Charging it with the Included Adapter, as that one Maximizes Battery Life. If you don’t need Fast Charging, it will learn that Over Time and Charge more Slowly.

I’ve been using the Included adapter for Charging Overnight and my 29 Watt Fast Charger when I need some battery life.

Has anyone use 18W charger the one comes with iPad Pro to charge iPhone or the other Apple products? Does that make any difference in terms of battery health? I don't need fast charging on my iPhone but if I have the chance why not use it? :D

What iPhone do you have? The 11 pros came with the 18w Charger in the Box.

Didn't realize it was a smart charger - nice! Is it still smart when it is plugged into the Magic Keyboard?

Oh! It will work with the 11. Make sure you have the Lightning to USB-C Cable so that it will work with the Brick!

Yea yea I have that also thanks to AirPods Pro but I just wanted to make sure it doesn't bother the battery health. Because from what I read on this topic I've been doing something wrong 11 months in and it's already on %90. People who has XS or x's kept better than mine LOL.

Yeah, that's not that scientific or even proof that wireless is bad. I've had my 11 on wireless charger every single day for almost a year (had it since release) and it's still at 100%. Not sure if it's due to optimized charging or my charger since mine has a cooling fan in it. I'm sure you can find plenty of people having 0 issue with a wireless charger without a cooling feature.

Same here. My Samsung PD 25W wireless charging stand also has the cooling fan. Model EP-N5200. Totally silent.
