Y’all are not going to believe this but... my iPad was PERFECT! No dents, scratches, bending, nothing! She’s perfect! 😍 I couldn’t believe it with how bad the box was!

Congrats!! I had one shipped from Best Buy in a bubble envelope as well and the box arrived pretty banged up as well and the iPad came out with a dead pixel (not sure if it was caused by that or it was just a manufacturing defect). Glad yours doesn't seem to have any screen issues! Enjoy!!

Guys, have you ever heard of the iPad Air 3rd gen bending?!? My son has one and I just took it out of the case to compare to my pro and his on the left side is bent! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thankfully it’s not my pro 🤣

Thanks! What’s the best way to check the screen really good?! I checked the iPad the screen looks ok, but I would like to double check. Lol

Yes, all iPads nowadays can bend. But the Pros are more susceptible.

Just get a white screen, preferably MacRumors Forums, and scan it with your Eyes for any discolored or black pixels.

A simple test to detect LCD dead pixels. Dead pixels contrast with solid test backgrounds.

Excellent for uncovering any dead or otherwise faulty pixels using various colored backgrounds.

Congrats on finally receiving your new iPad! I’m so happy for you! Looking forward to that video. I know we all felt so bad for you during your ordeal, and I for one am almost as happy as you that you received it.

Do you think that perhaps you son may have accidentally sat on it at some point in time and has forgotten about it? Accidents can happen, especially with the little ones.

I went with WiFi only for my iPad for two reasons. 1. Cost I was able to get a 128GB storage iPad for a great price due to working for an Apple Vendor and 2. I wasn’t sure I could add an iPad to my Verizon prepaid plan. I could but the extra cost made me go WiFi only. My WiFi is really good as I live in a small apartment and my modem/router is never far away

Thank you! 😊 I was so excited I couldn’t get to the post office fast enough! 😅

I don’t think so, ever since I bought it I’ve kept it in a think kids case and I always monitor him with it because he’s only 4. So he can only use it supervised. I think overtime it just bent.

I’m just going to order a regular case instead of child’s one, and put a couple wrenches on top and leave it for a week and hopefully that’ll get the bend out.

I had it for a couple of days already. I'll use to take notes when I start my courses online. Most definitely Apple Arcade! I don't know if it's worth but whatever 1 month free. But but but most importantly... replying these messages on this thread is going to be my favorite activity on iPad! 😂 I wish I had some talent to use Garage Band or any other creative app. Now that I have Pencil I do think I should try to draw or at least learn to draw :rolleyes:😅

I want to encourage you to just jump into GarageBand and fool around with it. Not only is it a fun way to learn but you'll come up with stuff you like just by goofing in there.

I suppose why not ? I just know I don't have the ability to create music or beats but it could be fun. 😅 Let's use every inch of this beautiful piece of tech. Will try as soon as I have time for it. Thanks!
