Apple says my iPP will be delivered Aug 6, but the UPS tracking number shows that it’s waiting for clearance in China with no ETA. I really hope it doesn’t take more than a week to get here. This last stretch is torture. 1st week of July-ers, we’re almost there guys!
@DiamondarBoss I’m pretty sure it’s the engraving that’s delayed it, but it seems like that process started when you were charged on Saturday, so I bet you should see movement today or tomorrow with similar delivery times!

Lol I've started just typing on the Magic Keyboard by itself. Lol. That's how bored I am.lol, im bored, playin with ya takes up a few minutes between refreshes
I keep checking my order status and credit card authorizations as well, although I’m not sure why lol. It’s not supposed to arrive until August 11 - 18. An exercise in futility, but helps ease the boredom somewhat. I guess I’m hoping for a miracle that it will get here earlier than Apple says (I’ve always been an optimist, lol).
The sad part is, I could have had it this Saturday if I cancelled the order with Apple and ordered from Best Buy, but there is almost a $200 difference between what Apple will give me for my trade vs what Best Buy will give me. I’m trading my late 2018 MBA for the ipad. In my world, that’s a big difference, lol.
So I called the Repair Shop where I dropped my 9.7" IPP off for a Screen Replacement on Saturday. They said it would be done by today (Wednesday). I just called them, and apparently their "Building caught on Fire" due to a Phone they had that had a Wonky battery. I know this has nothing to do with this, but I find it Strange. Hopefully my IPP didn't burn lol.

At least I have a iTunes Backup, I wiped the iPad before I sent it there. I always do in case something "Goes Wrong". Never did I imagine that it might Burn lol.
Well, if it did get destroyed in the fire, wouldn’t they have to offer you a replacement or the value of the iPad as compensation?
Yes they would but the problem is:
When I got it in May 2017, it's Value was $1029, which actually costs more than the 256GB 11" Pro I'm waiting for. Right now, it's value is about $129. sigh

Also, they assured me that the Fire was Isolated and that my iPad was fine.

Has anyones UPS devlivery date ever change from the orginal devliery date to "tentative"? If so, was the new delivery date the same as before, later or sooner?
