LOL UPS is all over the place, Apple originally had the delivery date for Wednesday, July 22, then UPS moved it up to July 21, then pushed it back to Friday, July 24. Now my iPad is actually in my city this morning and is supposed to be out for delivery today, what Apple's website had been saying all along, today's the day!

Same EXACT thing happened to me! Out for delivery today. Ordered June 23rd. Original delivery estimate was July 24 thru 30.

Ordered mine July 6, Pencil and Magic Keyboard have both arrived. But the iPad is still on Processing, with an Estimated Delivery Date of August 5-12 like @iThink Apple . Hopefully both of Our iPads come early lol

Ordered June 23rd, estimate delivery July 24-31.
Shipped on July 14th. Should arrive today, so if orders were canceled or they were able to ramp up production recently hopefully you receive your iPad Pro earlier than two days of your estimate.
Anyone else lost the excitement and more just annoyed how long it's taking?

Wait, why not get it earlier? You don't owe the forum anything. Go forth and be one with a new iPad.
Honestly it's better to stick with Apple for the customer service. No middle man. Any issues with it, they'll sort you out.
I can understand that you feel that way for your purchases, but Best Buy is also a good place to buy Apple gear, and regularly have decent discounts. I do a mix of both Apple and Best Buy. If I can save $200-300 on an item and get it in stock, I'm going to Best Buy.
I just realized my UPS status says In Transit, even though schedule delivery was for today, Wednesday 7/22/2020 before 9:00pm. It's already 6pm here and I don't think it's coming today. Last activity was Destination Scan in my city at 5:57am this morning. I remember if UPS is actually going to deliver a package the status should say Out for Delivery right?
I did lose excitement for a little bit but once you get the message that your iPad shipped I've been impatiently waiting for the past week. ugh.... I've got a new Apple Pencil 2 that I just hold in my hands eagerly waiting to write.
*Update* It actually came just now @ 7:35pm! Whoohoooo!!!!!!! That was one long month of waiting.
I did lose excitement for a little bit but once you get the message that your iPad shipped I've been impatiently waiting for the past week. ugh.... I've got a new Apple Pencil 2 that I just hold in my hands eagerly waiting to write.

I must Keep my Order! At least so I can help other people on Other forums, as many with this question have no answer. Also I’ve been waiting for this long, might as well wait another week. By then it will be ”Preparing to Ship” or “Shipped”. Also I got it engraved, I’ve already lost my Apple Pencil 1 and my iPad Pro 9.7”, so I got em Both engraved. (Don’t worry, I found them both lol. One of my Professors was nice enough to hold onto it lol)

My 11” cellular 512 gb ordered on 6/25 is finally arriving tomorrow, 7/24. My MK arrived on 7/9 and my pencil on 7/14.

So I guess Apple’s Delivery Dates are correct then. Wait a little under 1 Month and they arrive. Only about 1 1/2 weeks left for mine though!
EDIT: I don’t know if any of you guys Can Answer this, but since I got my IPP Engraved will it take longer than normal? Or in this case since they make them after you order, would it take the same amount of time?

I’m with you on that one! The second I see a model I like in stock at another authorized retailer, I’m out. Especially considering authorized retailers sometimes have sales and longer return windows than Apple’s.By the time you get your iPad, the new models will be released.
Yours should move to “Preparing to Ship” soon, as someone else on this forums had theirs move to “Preparing to Ship” on July 20 after ordering on July 1.
