Gen.1 9.7I think you mean the 10.5” Pro, dude. There is no 9.7“ Pro
A decent bit of kit - the 10.5” - from what I gather. And sturdy!
Gen.2 10.5
Gen.3 11.0

What we can do about this bent? this is ridiculous.... and Apple don't care.
You can not buy the iPad.
Lol my ipad pro is bent too! my ipad pro currently is in technnical support... they said in the first time is MY ISSUE ( wtf ), because apple made well product and test it, this alumminum is very weak... what we can do? for example in the best case, if i recibe my ipad pro in the future is very possible with this materials and with normal usage get a bent, this device is really bad made..
I can buy a nice Bumper case... but currently they don't care about this problem, i will get a better answer in 3 days, i hope a nice answer... ( new one for sure ) ..

All ipad pro have this poorly quality.I've just started looking at buying the 11'' iPad Pro. I currently own the 10.5'' 2017 iPad Pro. This bend issue is really concerning me and making me think twice about buying this model.
I apologize if this has been asked before, but is the bend issue limited to cellular models only or does it affect WiFi only models as well?

[doublepost=1551065323][/doublepost]I guess that’s the point, they are coming PRE-bent from the factory. Yours is flat and you did nothing to bend it. There are many iPads out there that are bent even though the owners did nothing different or were even less aggressive with them than what you describe, which is totally awesome that’s the experienice you should have and that I have had with all of my other iPads.I was not going to upgrade this cycle either after hearing the reports of peoples new iPad Pro’s being bent. I eventually gave in and upgraded mine and my wife’s to the new ones (12.9 iPad Pro, wireless not cellular). I have treated mine no different than I did the version one iPad Pro that I had. Have taken several plane flights with mine, shoved it in my leather messenger briefcase everyday as I head to work, etc. After several weeks its is still perfectly flat. I even checked it on Friday at work because I have a co-worker that has one also and we have joked around about whether ours are bent or not. Still perfectly flat and I love the device. Don’t regret buying it at all.

1- apple admits iPads can be shipped bent/curved and just recently advises to return within 14 days if not satisfied with flatness
2- apple will void your warranty if the iPad is bent/curved even the slightest if there is anything that goes wrong because they will say the bend/curve is user physical damage even though there are iPads shipped that way from the factory
Pretty shady
Take calm, you are a New owner, this Ipad pro have a very short lifetime, can you see how in the future will appear more and more curved Ipad pro.I would say that the vast majority of new iPad Pro owners are not experiencing any bending with their iPads.

Yeah you too, your ipad pro can curved. Don't forget that, new ipad owner.

Hold off until the fall, for the updated Pro (yes, already). They’ll fix the chasis, and the bending issue will go away. At least for those that buy the updated model
Black is not white, and bent is not normal for a £1K plus product. Don’t let Apple tell you otherwise

Can you provide sources for how you know that there will be an "updated Pro" this fall?
