iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Birmingham AL anyone?

Anyone else in Birmingham AL watching this thread. Mine still shows in Louisville. The last activity is an import scan at 5pm yesterday.

I tried looking on the flight tracker page but didn't find any flights for today.

I am scheduled for delivery today still.

After it gets to St Augustine, it will be trucked to Leesburg then out for delivery.

Does this seem efficient??????

Guess I can go shopping since it didn't leave for St Augustine until 8 - i won't miss the driver.

What can BROWN do you for?

NOT bid on Apple deliveries.


i told the guy i was making the 14yo girl call back, THEY can deal with her not getting her birthday present this morning....

So im wondering how long it usually takes to get to the Out for delivery stage after the unload scan. I live around 40 miles from south bend. Will there be an additional stop at a UPS hub or go straight to me? :D

Mine hasn't updated yet so it must be coming in by truck. So much for hopefully getting it early in the morning. Like many I rearranged my plans to later tonight so I could get mine and have time to play. I think next time I will pre order and pick up at an apple store.

I wasn't on the Flight of Doom, but I'm hoping I was on http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS1322 with you this morning into Jacksonville.

No movement in my tracking info since KSDF. I'm a little worried, but I know the UPS tracking status has been lagging at certain points for different people.

Hapeville, Ga is about 2 hours away from my local distribution center (which is about 15 minutes away from my house). Will I see my iPad today or is it too late to make it out on the truck?

Mine was in Louisville yesterday at 2:30pm and FINALLY got to Orlando, fl at 7:08am the next day ! ! ! ! A 2 hr flight!

At Disney on vacation. Had my iPad delivered direct to me here. It's currently in Orlando, but it's not out for delivery yet. The big risk for me having it delivered here is that I leave tomorrow. So if UPS drops the ball, I am really screwed. So I am sitting here refreshing my computer waiting for that magical "Out for Delivery message".

The official iPad Accessories probably won't be online today but there are 3 iPad cases on Bestbuy.com like I said

To Birmingham: iam not sure. There wasn't a flight that showed up but it doesn't necessarily mean there wasn't one - a replacement flight could have taken it's place. Trust me it may just have taken a different method or city to fly too. Or perhaps the tracking isnt updating.

Welcome back! I dropped off around 12:00 AM or so after we got hit with a location scan from KY. Thanks for your advice. I had doubts but it turned out to be correct. :)

Both my packages got to Romulus this morning at 7:30am... so they said I will get them by end of day today which I guess is 7pm. Just print our your pre-signed delivery form so you dont miss it.

Does the UPS site actually say it's in Romulus? My tracking number is still in Louisville as of this posting...

Did you really have to go there and play the 14 year old guilt card on a phone rep that has nothing to do with the shipping processes of the company? I think not. I'm quite sure this is about you every bit as much as it's about your daughter.

You'll get it today though, so you can stop calling and worrying.
