It left the airport in Baltimore last night and hasn't been scanned at my local hub which is about an hour and a half away from the airport. I was told that I do have Saturday delivery. I'm starting to get very anxious.

Mine just updated about an hour ago at the Sparks location.... ugh, the suspense is killing me! lol
 
People, don't expect the "Out for delivery", a couple of people who got theirs didn't get the message. So do not expect to know when its out. The departure scan or in transit is the last message they got.
 
If it's a huge problem for you, why not go and buy one from the Apple Store today and then return the one you'll receive on Monday? :)

HOly crap.

I've called ONCE. ONE TIME - this morning to verify i was indeed slated to get Saturday delivery. I haven't called apple at all, i hadn't called UPS until this morning.

AND, fyi, the rep LAUGHED when i said i would have her call back - he said he had a 15yo daughter and knew what i meant.

Trust me, i'm normally the FUNNEST person most customer service people speak to in a day.

Why? Because i've DONE THAT JOB.

I had a 2 appointment block at the Apple Store yesterday - the guy was worried, and by the time i left he AND his manager were laughing WITH ME over my laptops problem.

Humor.....

Me, I won't get to play with it until next weekend. I'm booked.

Off to hard boil eggs for the kids to dye later.

I am assuming that is because the status is behind..... It should say it eventually.

Really, 15 Minutes to get from the Airside to the Local Hub. I can drive that route in a good 5 minutes. Did they stop and get some damn coffee.

Sorry to hear that, I feel your pain. That is pretty poor service.
Keep your head up, try to put the iPad outta your mind until Monday, I know it won't be easy. It will be there in a couple of days. :D

Must be nice....I have two that should be going to Independence today, but it still shows the import scan in Louisville.

Anyone know what the actual policy is on that for an online order ?. Is it a difficult process to return it when theoretically there isn't anything wrong with it ?
