Right, but people should know that before thinking "well it's not out for delivery, i can go get some coffee or something".

Good to know. According to UPS, my iPad is in Oakland right now, and I was a little worried it might not show up at the local sort facility in time to get on a truck for delivery.
It means originally, you weren't going to get the saturday delivery but Apple told UPS that it's suppose to be for saturday delivery. So UPS upgraded it and will ship it to you today.
Just got mine. When i went to be last night it still said ANCHORAGE, AK.
It mad it to Philly 6 am this morning. The driver said they had a lot of them to deliver and was glad I was home cause they would have to come back. So i guess they really will try and get them all out today as promised.

Mine has made it to St Augustine 15 minutes ago.... a mere 2 hours and 39 minutes away.
I'm hoping they are loading trucks there - but i'm thinking NOT and it will shift to a big truck, then this way to be sorted.....

I feel your pain cause the same thing happened to me. I'm going to go check out the display model at Best Buy and hopefully grab a case to have for monday. Next time I'll be reserving for pickup at the Apple Store.
