I keep reading posts criticizing UPS, and so far, from what I can tell, they're doing an incredible job on a herculean task. Let's make UPS GLAD they signed up for this job, rather than pissed at the poor attitude of Apple customers.

iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Most people didn't get the out of delivery message. The tracking information are behind by an hour or two. The departure scan could potentially means it's out for delivery now.

Haha mine shows that it is "in Transit" to Rochester, NY after the flight landed in Buffalo (45 minutes west of here). So I KNOW it is already here. I should have chosen an Ambulance Shift today at my ambulance agency, because they are in the same suburb as my UPS Facility
But a friend whose dad is the USPS Regional Manager and lives in Henrietta, said he saw the WHOLE fleet leaving at once, which they rarely ever do... so I am definitely excited
I am going to call my local manager at the Hub to see when I should expect delivery by, but DONT WORRY! Haha no one's seems to be showing out for delivery - they must be "magically" transporting them to the trucks without scanning
Yup- standard sync with itunes procedure - Live in Cincinnati - got mine at 9:00AM sharp
Not confirmed at all - but a a freiend said UPS may not be doing "Out for Delivery" notifications on the device in some areas for security purposes. Not sure what that means, but he said to prevent theft from trucks and deliveries. Didn't make too much sense to me, but he used to work for them (on the IT side)

Yep, totally Apple. Many of us Magic Monday folks would have been picking up in stores if Apple would have been up front with the UPS Saturday BS. I now have an iPad screen protector, case and silicone skin in hand, as well as 20 iPad apps downloaded in my iTunes. iPad will be here Monday. That Saturday the 3rd confirmation on my order was bunk. Oh well, not like any of us paid freight...
Arrived at 9:15. Still says "In Transit" on tracking pages (UPS and iship).

Thanks! I would agree... without looking up all of this stuff, and seeing everyone elses, I probably would have had a mental breakdown xD
And I am doing the same.... I am sitting in my living room, and I am waiting and watching... every time I hear a truck I get excited
And I usually get Saturday deliveries from them around 10:30
And every time my dog barks, I jump with excitement, then sulk with disappointment back into my couch xD

Henrietta Ambulance is a sweet agency... RIT recently had sulfur spill and it leaked into their science dept. they had 30 patients at once, and they all refused treatment at once. Digital paperwork? COPY AND PASTE
yeah - no "out for delivery" notice... Just a doorbell...
Synching now - everything off my 80 Gig iPod into the iPAD.
Synching 40Gig will take a while... So i can't play with it yet... Downloading iBookStore from iTunes.... and a few apps while I wait
Good news - It came fully charged
And the apple packaging is, once again, awesome.
Over the last year when all the nice folks from Illinois went south to try and find work, while us Texans couldn't hear anything over our zero state income tax and recession avoiding economy. Never mind all those folks living in Houston that don't appear on the census...
Just a few more minutes until you get it - unless all these Saturday deliveries has put them behind. I do feel a little like a kid on Christmas morning. Come on Santa!And I usually get Saturday deliveries from them around 10:30

It seems that nobody is getting "Out for delivery" status messages, they are just getting delivered. I'm in the same boat here in San Clemente, CA. I'm just hoping that it shows up. UPS has been really good here in the past, so I'm not "too" worried.
