iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Help!

ok, my case just shipped via FedEX... But my ipad status has not been updated! Last night it said it left Guangzhou at 4:10 AM there time, then went to AIR TRANSIT SCAN in KR around 9:32 AM thre time. It has not changed. I am worried I will not get it tomorrow, even thought they told me I will because everyone's status is being update and mine is not! I am in the Boston area.:mad::confused::mad::confused::apple::confused::mad:

I don't think anyone who went to Korea has had their status updated. At least I haven't. :p

Not necessarily, not to KSDF anyways. Or not that I know of. I know there are two, but not 5 in less than an hour period except on Fridays...

EDIT: Nevermind, you are right - I never looked back that far in the logs. I usually only see about 2 because of the times I am checking the flight information. After that I just track by number and I never look back later at the overall.

But now I just learned something new :)

Hey Techdude, are there any other flights going to SoCal. Say around the San Diego area? My info hasn't been updated. Still arrival in Kentucky.

Slightly OT, my case and dock have both shipped - in separate FedEx shipments.

One (the dock) is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, 4/3. The other (the case), not until Tuesday. Both are "Home Delivery Indirect".

Maybe the flight plan to KRFD just hasn't been filed yet or something. I don't think I've ever had anything shipped via UPS to my house and NOT have it come through to KRFD. Unless they're just throwing them on a semi, like they've done a few times.

This was UPS21 - I was on it. It arrived at that time.

Yes it has plenty of time to be broken down off of the pallets and placed on a flight to the ZLA - LA Area tonight. You are good :)

Mine was in Kentucky on Tuesday, in a customs exception state. Wednesday that disappeared and it appeared to be still in China, then Korea later in the day.

Now it is back in KY back in a customs exception.

The really weird thing is that now the ship/bill date has changed to 4/2 when it originally said 3/29.

Some reason I just don't think many of these will be delivered tomorrow. :(
 
I am about 250 miles away from the Louisville hub, does anyone know if it will get on a plane or possibly just get shipped by truck?

For both of ya ;)

The flightplans for UPS's flights aren't filed until a few hours before they take off. This is to keep them ontime and saves UPS paperwork if they have to delay or cancel a flight.

Now basically what will happen is your packages will be sent through WorldPort as I (and others) explained before, and sometime late tonight FlightAware (ak their info comes from ATC systems) will show new flights from KSDF.

Those flights will probably go to both of your areas, they just arent filed yet so you don't see them right now :)

All you can do is wait for the departure scan to try and tie it directly to a specific flight. Otherwise, you just have the list of scheduled departures to So. Cal. area and not much else to go on - except, if you know routing from past shipments - even then, as in my case, it went elsewhere (usually mine go through KONT).

Mine will probably actually just get thrown on a truck. I'm only 400 miles or so from Kentucky.

They should be fine - UPS has been moving things around like crazy and their systems are way overloaded - so things have been kind of crazy.

And unless it said ARRIVAL SCAN in KY, it was never in KY to begin with. It should be on its way or already there right now.

Thanks, :) mine is still in China (on paper) and hasn't updated yet, so I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...:p

I am hoping for an early delivery tomorrow, cause I will have to leave the house by mid-day.
 
Mine has reached Louisville, now just needs to make it 10 mins down the road to Bundlebox so they can send it back to the airport and on its way to me in the UK.

Mines the same. I will breath a sigh of relief when it reaches my Bundlebox and then think about the next stage of the journey.
