iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Yeah, I did a search for Bundlebox on twitter and someone got a phonecall from Bundlebox saying expect delivery on Tuesday. I was expecting Wednesday, I hope thats true. I know they were expecting shipping them out Monday, but maybe they are doing it Tomorrow instead now.

To be honest I didn't think it was going to work. I missed out on the preorders, and just ordered it on my UK Amex using the bundlebox US address, BUT it seems to have worked! Now trying to open a US iTunes account!
 
Anyone from UPS21 flight depart from Louisville. Still at Arrival Scan. Should I be concerned?

I had to do it that way too. Got worried when there were reports of orders to importers being cancelled earlier this week.

Got my US iTunes account sorted as well and bought some Gift Card on eBay so I now have the full iWorks suite ready plus iBooks.

My only issue with that is they never disclosed the carrier. I knew I might not get mine until Monday when I ordered, but had I known it was being shipped via UPS I most likely would have had it shipped to a different address that has Saturday delivery. Its going to be a long weekend

I guess it will depend on what time the actually get them and when we complete the shipping requests etc.

Hey... just noticed billing info received went from 3/31 to 4/2? Crap. I guess all of us who got the "Magical Monday Delivery" email still have iPads flying around somewhere on flight 815...

No concern here :)

Mine is still at arrival. I am not worried as they have PLENTY of time to get that pallet broken down and sorted before UPS1144 departs KSDF for Buffalo, NY at 4:10 AM EST :)

They have almost 10 hours! But other flights to further distances may be earlier than that. But in terms of anyone worrying they shouldnt be - UPS knows they have to fulfill these shipments and they will be breaking them down soon as flights from around the country are going to be pouring in soon because the pickups at local centers on the East Coast and Central US have passed, and those packages will be on flights to KSDF soon so they will have a large workload tonight :rolleyes:

Fight 815? Flight 815??? Do you know what happens on Flight 815?
 
I was frankly a little worried this afternoon. UPS2194 was bound for Philadelphia Intl from KY at around 1555. Yet there was no scan/update of my package. Considering this was the last flight to Phili and no updates on my package I thought they had not broken down the crate and scanned in mine. So I was figuring they would ship it to me Monday. Then I noticed the flight had not taken off. In fact the flight didn't leave KY till 1813, which happens to be when my package was scanned in. I don't know what unholy contract Apple has UPS bound to, but I now feel that "no s$@t" my iPad will be here Saturday.

In fact that may not have been the last flight, either.

Philly has a fairly large UPS hub at their airport - I have actually been inside it :)

And I know that they have at least 2-3 flights there per day (including the night time).

Remember those later flights won't show up on flightaware until reaaalllyy late tonight :)

I think mine's on that flight to Philly too. I am in Northeastern PA and my departure scan was at 5:43, so I'm assuming it's on UPS2194, from there it will probably go to Willow Grove and out on trucks to local facilities.

Knowing how large corps work and seeing a delay of a delivery flight of any kind is impressive. To me it screams of one helluva SLA apple has UPS bound to. =) Go go gadget iPad. This is going to be so much fun on my flight to London :apple:

What is going on with the SK flight? Flight 43 arrived a while ago...Still no scan?:confused: Starting to get nervous about delivery for tomorrow...

I'm in Philly (well, Glenside) and I haven't had any movement yet. Still in Kentucky on an 'exception.' Getting soooo antsy. If I didn't have season 5 of 24 to distract me I think I might go stir crazy.
 
Jimmypopjr, yours might get to Philly on a later flight since it doesn't have as far to go from Philly, I am about 2 hours north of Philly.
