You'll see a little "Help" blue box pop up on the right side of the screen. From there you can select "Chat with us" and then a new pop up window will open with a bot. At the bottom of that window there is "Live Chat" which will take you to a real person. Let us know if you get different information!

So if I am trading in a phone do I need to take the old phone to Best Buy on Friday to turn it in or can I wait a few days? Do they need the original box and charger and everything?
 
so if i place a preorder and they in fact don't get them to me for friday delivery, can i cancel and go to a local att/apple /best buy store friday morning and be ok?
 
I can no longer change my order from delivery to pick up. I was still able to make that change yesterday. Hopefully that's a good sign. I ordered this one for my daughter from Best Buy. I have not had a problem with BB in the past like some have had. I am going to try in person for myself on Friday. I am not in a huge hurry for myself so if I end up having to wait a couple weeks, it's fine.

The challenge will be 2-fold.

1- Once it ships, it cannot be cancelled and you are stuck waiting for however long it would take to receive.

2- if you are able to cancel, you have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to be reset. Assuming you’re upgrading. This shouldn’t take too long, but on the morning of? Who knows.

I had a pending charge without the apple care before now it actually charged me plus the $10 for applecare. I couldn’t do store pickup when I ordered so it’s set to deliver at my work

Hmmm, I wonder if that means they are giving preferred priority to those orders that have AppleCare monthly attached to the order. I suppose that could make sense.
 
wanted to switch to the apple upgrade program to totally detach from being locked to a carrier but i can't wait 2 more weeks. Looks like only best buy does the ATT next every year plan still. I know I'm gonna want to upgrade next year for 5G

i would be cautiously optimistic that it actually happens...
 
For what it is worth if best buy is showing stock on every phone.......I can only assume that every Apple Store will have their fair share of stock for walk ins. Just a guess though. I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Best Buy rather wait a month.
 
I did preorder ip 11 pro max 256gb (gold)
Wanted the midnight green but pushed to 27th..verizon
May hit up a corporate store to exchange if i find one once my phone arrives!

They oversold the preorders and most deliveries were pushed back 2-3 weeks. They sent out an email on Sep 15, 2016 which was the night before it was released. They did offer $100 off my next Best Buy purchase but that voucher was also a pain in the a** to use as I needed to call twice to get a new redemption code issued as they all were coming up as "invalid".
My phone was finally delivered on October 7th even though I was scheduled to get it on release day.

Last year I preordered the XS Max with them (reluctantly) and when it was delivered I got an email saying my order was cancelled. They then had to charge my card again after my order was "refunded" after it was delivered.
I'm just hoping this year it all goes well and Best Buy finally comes through for me. Hoping for the best!

Someone earlier said that they used to work for BB, and that getting the phones delivered was the best option. They said store-pickup was sketchy, and I think they often use preorders for store inventory.

I have ordered phones before from BB once before, and received them on launch day. Last year I ordered watches for store pickup, and after days of not getting the call/email that my order was ready, I and ended up cancelling the order and getting our watches through apple, same-day in-store.

I used to work for BB (though it was back in 2012) and I never saw any of the issues I did as a customer. lol. That makes NO SENSE to have preorders used for store inventory. I selected the Best Buy that's only a few minutes from my work so I can leave and grab it as soon as I get confirmation that it's ready lol

Well, let's hope they've got it together this year. The only thing that makes that hard to belieive is all varieties still showing launch day availability.

That's the thing that's making me feel a little uneasy. Lol. I'm just keeping fingers crossed and hoping they somehow have a large inventory or didn't get very many preorders?
