How are you liking your black Apple silicone? I know you have stone gray as well. Do you go back and forth or mostly use one over the other? I just ordered the black and have stone gray already.

Ah, that Jet Black 7 was my favorite. Wish they’d produce that finish again, though not possible with the current materials of course. Such a cool looking phone…Ah ok can’t argue with that then. Not a big difference to me.
My favorite black that was released lately was the Space Black 14 Pro Max for sure, deepest black since Jet Black 7. Otherwise they’re just always shades of dark gray.
But again I love my decision of going black this year and wouldn’t change it. Natural Ti was a very close second for me.

It’s been great so far. I haven’t been swapping back and forth, plan to run this one for a while to see how it wears before switching over to the gray. I also have a black Lumen arriving today and a frost black Ultra Hybrid T arriving this weekend. I’m mostly curious about the camera control covers on the Otterbox and Spigen, though I’m open to one or the other replacing the Apple if they’re better than expected. Seems unlikely though as I’m pretty well satisfied with the Apple. How are you liking your black Apple silicone? I know you have stone gray as well. My Apple silicone case (Ultramarine Blue) is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Well designed, protective and beautifully made.Has anyone been rocking the apple silicone case for the past few weeks? I’ve always been reluctant about it due to its durability issues, but seeing some comments here that they may have upgraded it from past silicone cases?
Has anyone been seeing any degradation with the case thus far? How is the case different from previous models?
Nice! Has it survived any significant drops? How rough do you handle your phone? My Apple silicone case (Ultramarine Blue) is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Well designed, protective and beautifully made.
Durability? My previous silicone case was in perfect condition after three years. I expect my new one to hold up equally well.
But my best advice is just to try it. You'll either like it or you can return it.

The Apple silicone case has survived a million drops. On tile floors, LOL. (I'm clumsy, distracted and I have cats.) I especially like that it has a significant front lip as a disproportionate number of drops seem to land screen side down.Nice! Has it survived any significant drops? Been waiting for this one! Did notice they removed the raised edges on the back and rounded it out. Wonder what that will do for scratches on the back. If you pop in the “ultra” style buttons from last years case do they become “unflush”?LOVE the way gen Gen6 frosted feels in hands, there are no more rough edges whatsoever on the case and feels thinner overall when holding it.
Type C port is much bigger than before so that issue is cleaned up. The only thing I don’t like about it is the buttons are way more flush now. Still very clicky but they are just about flush with the case.
Camera control cutout is done very clean also. Overall really like the case just not sure how I feel about the flush style buttons.
Yeah I did notice that now what you say so and I wish they would’ve kept them. But honestly your phone rests on the camera hump and the bottom is the only thing that rest on a surface. I’m ok with it but still prefer them to be there.Been waiting for this one! Did notice they removed the raised edges on the back and rounded it out. Someone in the thread had one when it first came out and aid the camera control cutout was loose. Then Apple pulled the whole series completely. I just checked and now they’re showing to arrive end of October. Keen to see how they’ve changed or improved it.Anyone pickup the Otterbox Figura case(s)? Got all 3 for my Pro Max. Miss this series. I had the blue titanium and it didn't match any of the Figura cases so I skipped it. Now I am back to white/silver titanium and the cases are amazing! Also picked up the Ultramarine Apple Silicone case too. Love that color

Thanks! I ended up getting there and they sold out of both so it’s on order, supposedly will be here Friday. I went with black because I heard this years is a little blacker than the 15 pro black that I currently have… I want BLACK as black can be lolBlack. This years black is insane. The sides are a bit darker, but I went natural first then exchanged.
You weren’t able to see in store to compare? Thanks! I ended up getting there and they sold out of both so it’s on order, supposedly will be here Friday. I went with black because I heard this years is a little blacker than the 15 pro black that I currently have… I want BLACK as black can be lol
Just guessing, but I wonder if this is a result of stiffening up the area around the buttons to prevent it from getting loose over time as it sometimes has in years past? The only thing I don’t like about it is the buttons are way more flush now. Still very clicky but they are just about flush with the case.
Ehhhh I don’t think so because it still has a little movement when you press it. It’s not that much improved than before.Just guessing, but I wonder if this is a result of stiffening up the area around the buttons to prevent it from getting loose over time as it sometimes has in years past?
Interesting. What do you mean? I bought both mine from Apple the week before iPhones were delivered. Both arrived and have had no issues.Someone in the thread had one when it first came out and aid the camera control cutout was loose. Then Apple pulled the whole series completely. Forgot about Incase. Their Slider cases for the 3, 4, and 5 series were so good.I decided to grab the Incase Slim case for my black iPhone 16 Pro, and it's a really solid case! it's a transparent bumper case with a tinted black glossy back and the camera cutout is big enough to not hinder using camera control. It's a fairly low profile case that really hugs the phone. I found it for $39 at Best Buy.

I have the Mous Limitleas 6.0 in Blue. It’s a great case. No MagSafe imprint on the back, after using it for a week.So I’m getting a 16 pro tomorrow, said I wasn’t going to again this year… yet here we are… FOMO like crazy lol. I’m trying to decide between Mous Aramid, Mous Leather, or Mous Clarity OR UAG Civilian (black) what do yall think?
Unfortunately not… the store I went to is kind of lame. They only had a Desert Titanium PM and and Natural Titanium Pro strapped down so you can’t even see the back or hold it… oh well. I went with black because I figured I couldn’t go wrong with it. Although I guess I could have tried NT then returned within 30 days if I was unhappyYou weren’t able to see in store to compare?
Congrats BTW!
The strip of plastic where the camera control cutout connects to the front of the screen is loose is what the member said at the time.Interesting. What do you mean? I bought both mine from Apple the week before iPhones were delivered. Both arrived and have had no issues.
