Usually buy a bullstrap & caudabe case, so far I’ve only purchased the black silicon case for my pro and I have to say I’ve been liking it a lot. Has a really nice feeling in the hand
The Apple silicone case is lightweight, well designed, protective and beautifully made. After all these years and years of cases, it's my favorite one.

I only wish they would expand the color choices.

I’m a little conflicted to say I kinda like the apple silicon case. It has a nice soft but grippy feel. First time I’ve used one as I always buy a leather case. I’m waiting one from Ryan London that I hope will change my mind but I do wonder how well the oval capture button cutout will work. I remember I had the first version of Andars case with the action button hole and it was near impossible use. Not they didn’t taper the opening the way cases are doing but the cc button is also flatter. We’ll see but I think leather cases will need to be re-designed with a capacitive button.

Just want to provide this feedback for folks who may be considering the Apple Silicon Case. I've avoided the silicon cases since Apple introduced them. I toughed out an entire year with a FineWoven case (which I didn't think was all that bad). This year I finally bit the bullet and purchased a silicon case and…I actually really like it. The fit is great, I love the fact that the camera action button is covered, and the color is great (I opted for denim with my black iPhone). Out of the box, the case is fairly slippery, but even after one day of handling, it seems to be getting "stickier." Your mileage may vary, but I just wanted to put this out there as one more data point for folks.
My history matches yours! I’m not as thrilled with the silicone, but I don’t mind it. It still feels a bit slippery but I’ve been dropping things lately regardless, so I just received the Native Union wrist strap. https://www.nativeunion.com/products/city-grip. I did get mine thru Amazon (hard to beat accurate shipping and easy returns). They have a sling version too.
The design seems really smart and I had no trouble plugging in the charging card with it on It also comes with a standard cord for threading thru lanyard holes if your case has those.
The cord is substantial, but very comfortable because of that, and almost spongy due to the way it’s woven.
So hopefully this will help me with the silicone.

Would definitely appreciate your thoughts once you have the Ryan London in.

Been running the apple sili since Friday (didn't go crazy with cases just yet with the camera control cutout) and safe to say apple seems to have put a little more effort into the case this year. With dumping the trash woven, it seems they took the time to make some adjustments to their only case now. I don't consider their bar of soap clear case good at all...same every year. The sili seems not as sandy, but more smooth. Not as linty as I haven't seen dirt/lint built up at all. Fitment and grip seems improved as well.

I have my camera control button set to double click so no accidental pushes. It's real smooth.

Going to be a very light year for cases. My most used case last year ended up being the PR Flex. The new Flex and the Air are on the way. Have a Nomad Sport coming tomorrow (they altered the back and not smudgy/shiny) and a few Pitaka cases coming too...that'll be it for me.

How do you guys feel about the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear over time? This the first time I really running a clear case for the iPhone and it’s not so bad. Button works flawlessly and I actually enjoy seeing the white on the back.

I never have great thoughts about its longevity of yellowing but I’m going to keep using it right now.

Here is my 16PM desert titanium w/ pitaka case. I went back and forth on black titanium or desert titanium. I am very happy with my choice and understand it isn’t for everyone. I have rocked the pitaka for the last couple of years and wanted to do that again this year. I was concerned with the silver camera surround, but it turns out that I love it with the desert titanium.

When I went white with the 14PM I went through 3 Ultra Hybrids to keep that pristine clear look. Turned slightly discolored after 4 months. Well worth it however due to the amazing look and grip.

Stunning case but I would worry about the metal camera ring getting scratched.

Does this case show a lot of fingerprints

I originally got the Nomad Modern Leather case in black horween leather. It looks good and provides lots of protection. Put it on yesterday as soon as I got my phone and have been using it since.

But, I also got the denim silicone Apple case for my wife, who hasn’t set up her phone yet (she’s waiting until tomorrow). I tried the case on my phone for the last hour or so and wow, I gotta say, it feels great. Less bulk than the Nomad case. The camera button on the Apple case feels way better than the cutout on the Nomad case.

As much as I love leather, I may just get myself an apple Silicone case and go with it. Not sure what color yet, thinking either black or possibly the gray color.

And, I’m back in the Nomad this morning. Can’t decide which one to go forward with. The Apple case got it right with the camera button and the slim design, but the feel of leather is just so nice. I’m sure the Nomad also affords better protection, though I generally take pretty good care of my phones.

For me, there is just no case at this time that has everything I want. Nomad has a “traditional” leather case that seems more “Apple-like”, but the cutout looks horrible. Maybe they will update that case to a button eventually…

Man, whoever comes out with a leather case with a CC button cover first....!

Everyone seems to be liking the silicone this year (I’m sure the button situation helps) - may have to pick one up. Do they not pick up grease and lint very badly? Like, the material that would pull the pocket inside out…

Or, have they improved the design over the years enough to be of quality?

I just received one and I don't like the feel of it. I'm in the minority but I prefer spigen ultra hybrid, even with the button cut it.

I couldn’t use the silicone in previous years because of the lint / stickiness issues but this year seems like a big improvement to me. Not sticking in my pockets at all and remaining mostly lint free. It’s really, really nice.
