Holy crap

16% left in low power mode off the charger 27 hours ago

Still tons of YouTubing. Immensely happy :D

I will have to be very skeptical of software updates from a battery efficiency perspective this is nuts to me

Unfortunately crazy battery drain happening for me as well on iPhone 16 pro. Still not solution.

I tried everything. I’m quite not new on iOS and I didn’t find any solution. Avoid common comments please. There is no app working in the background acting wired. It’s just some sort of process working in the background and draining battery even when not using iPhone.
Background activity off. Most of the commons draining tasks off.

I’m comparing my activity to my previous iPhone 14 I have to my girlfriend. She is at 78% while I’m at 45%. Something not going right here.
Restored one time and solved nothing. I would like to avoid restoring everything and not using iCloud backup to be honest.

Anyone going crazy and disappointed as me? Seems no one is talking about that. And without a case there will be no a solution or a feedback from those engineers supposed to fix it.

So I am having massive charging issues with my 16 Pro Max. It is stuck at 62% and won’t charge any further. It says it’s charging and it’s not saying it’s slow charging. I tried plugging in a USB C cable and tried on a MagSafe charger and tried on the new MagSafe 2 charger plugged into a 65w Belkin plug.
Called Apple support and they ran a diagnostic check on the phone and said they couldn’t see an issue so I went through to post sales support. This is the last day of my return period and they’ve agreed to extend the return period for another two weeks whilst I try and get a new phone ordered.

Hello to all.
Last night I forget to put my pro max 16 on chargez.
When I slept it was 41% , when I woke up in the morning it was 35% , like it was loosing 1% of battery per hour.
I never expirenced this before.
Is this normal or ???

It’s not unheard of but it’s on the high side.
My 16pm loses around 0.5 per hour overnight
Do you have a connected Apple Watch ? That can affect standby usage

I regularly go to bed with my phone off the charger. My 16 ProMax will only lose about 2-3% with it checking for mail every 15 minutes.

I would wait and see what happens next few days. You can also check the battery app to see if something was running in the background.

My mail settings is on push , so , that is how i hold it.
Maybe I should try to kill all bacground activity level , and then try?
Also i notice one thing more.
I have 3 u tools , so i wacth my battery closely.
I can see that lets say that I am charging my phone, and 3u tools detects new cycle count , 4 hours later my iphone raise the cycle count.
Why 4 hrs delay?

I was having the same problem with my M1 iPad Pro 11 on PB 18.1. It was draining 5% or more per day, so I went and turned off all non essential background apps and now I have back the battery life I expected and was used to. Did the same with my iPhone. Worth a try. Just go down through the Background App Refresh list and only leave on what you think is essential.
