I'd like to know this too. I know it's referenced on the apple store website but it just say's 'coming soon'. Actually, that's a thing! Why don't apple list the same price for the PAYG handset that O2 are listing? It could still say coming soon with a price attached.

Is it possible they will undercut O2? CPW might get extra business doing the trade in scheme. Not something I would be party to but for others, it might convince them.
 
I'm sure in the previous pages/another thread I've seen plenty of posts saying that PAYG will be available in the Apple store at opening times.

Plus seem a little silly for Apple to launch yet have nothing to sell, as they don't sell contract phones.
 
Has anyone tried to buy anything from O2.co.uk today? I'm trying to buy the simplicity sim but the checkout process is completely borked. I've tried using various browsers on OSX and windows but always the same problems. Not impressed so far.

You are restricted to PAYG when buying from Apple online.

It's just strange how they haven't listed a price. O2 have set the marker, will Apple follow?

Doubt they would undercut!!! Remember, Apple are supposedly to blame for the price rise so maybe they just let O2 come out first so O2 'appear' to be behind the price rise! Sneaky?

Regardless, O2 are the one's getting most of the negative press because of it, whilst Apple sit back and stay quiet.
 
If only they did 1 year contract like Orange over in France are doing...

Would agree with you if this was a CPW complaints forum, but it's an iPhone one so why wouldn't the people happy with CPW be on here as well?

I had the worst consumer experience I've ever had with CPW on the 3G launch day, and I know I'm not alone. Sure, there were those who had no problems, but the amount of people who were really scr***d by CPW on that day was a disgrace - people who had pre-ordered in the first couple of hours of being allowed to, being assured every day that their phones would arrive on release day, and then on the day receiving nothing except "sorry, we're out of stock" and having to wait up to another 2 weeks while people who had ordered just the day before received theirs on release day.

I can honestly say that I will never rely on the competence of CPW again, even if they are the quicker/cheaper option.

I think they only have a domestic grade server and just can't cope when things get busy. :rolleyes:

I'll be heading to the Apple store come Friday to buy a PAYG iPhone 3GS, only to pop my current iPhone 3G sim inside.

Another brick in the wall. (-_-)
