Like I said iPhones upscale from 750p. Suggest making an appointment with the nearest optometrist if it hasn't been obvious to you. Looks even worse on iPads.

I have no idea what that game is, and it was probably released before the 6s or 6s plus. I know that Nfs does not look any better on the Samsung

It does not surprise me, I've always believed that it's not about the specs. Samsung customer service is terrible, I tried the S4 a few years ago and would never own a Samsung or Andriod phone again! Apple may be behind in features but their devices work well and when features are implemented they also work well.

This is Android‘s biggest problem. Someone buys an Android phone, something the customer service/build quality/bloatware/hardware fault of that manufacturer puts off the consumer who then declares they'll never buy an Android phone again.

I once owned a Citroen. It was awful. But it'd be like me saying "I'm never going to use an internal combustion engine again".

Two can play the apology game. It's not optimized for S7 either.

So there you have it. iPhones cheat by loading lower quality smaller 750p bitmaps. End of discussion. Someone inform clueless Phil Shiller.

Dead Trigger 2 from 2013 that hasn't been optimised ...

A selective example to validate a fallacious generalisation / claim.

Yeah if all else fails pick a game from 2013.

Btw if you want to see the best game graphically on mobile, nothing beats afterpulse at the moment. Almost console like in quality. Too bad I hate fps type games

nothing beats afterpulse at the moment.

Another low quality iOS 750p upscale. Just look at the game size which is smaller or the review. And, remember to make that optometry appointment.

"The graphics in this share the same unfortunate quality of many other iOS games- all flash and no substance. Really not that impressive if you have a decent eye for detail. I'm on iPhone 6 and can see extremely low-res textures, animations that are really bad/super stiff and physics are almost nonexistent. Also, there are a lot of standard 3rd person shooter mechanics that were just plain thrown out the window. Framerate hitches pretty frequently too. On top of that, it's just not a very good game."

Well in 2016 not owning internal combustion engine is very doable.

Another poorly chosen selective example ... One persons user review of a game on the iPhone 6 proves a fallacious claim that ALL games are upscaled from 750p on the 6 & 6S Plus ...

But when Apple have much better customer service and their phones are a lot more reliable it gives any Android phone a run for it's money. I'm not saying that the S7 or S7 Edge doesn't have better specs they obviously do, but I've learned over the years that specs do not equal a better device or experience. I have the iPhone 6 Plus at the moment and I've not had a single problem with it since owning it, the same when i owned the 3GS, 4S and the 5S, the same can be said for other Apple products i own or have owned over the last few years (iPad's, Mac's and Apple TV). Good customer service and experience has an impact, it keeps the customer coming back, for example i'm waiting for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (or the Pro if they decide to call it that). I will always value a better experience and reliability over specs.

Yeah just add him to your ignore list. Sadly however the ignore is bypassed when using third party forum viewers like Tapatalk.

Apple builds the iDevices to do a job as effectively as possible from top to bottom - software, hardware, etc. is all selected to complement each other whilst maintaining decent battery life.

Samsung build phones to win spec sheets.

Not in my region if you live in a building or home with no garage. I would love to lease a Tesla, but we barley have any charging stations like the westcoast has. :(

Barley, and only in some parking garages which none of them are actual fast charging stations.
I only said they were there somewhere.:)
Nice Try...
But I'm not impressed at your Blatant attempt to trash Samsung and Android.

Most users base their buying decision on a few preferences that have nothing to do with a single benchmark.

Yet I will recognize your emotional connection and commitment to the Cupertino Co.
Even so it's where's the almighty dollar goes that really counts. Not some opinion on an anonymous Internet forum.

Love topics like this, lets forget the Samsung has a much Higher Res Display, and an OS that has a lot more going on the background, despite that it does a great job at keeping up with a phone that is a lot more simple and nowhere near as capable.

Being small using a pointless curved display , useless if not to distort everything on the screen? Interesting marketing gimmick on Samsung 's side...
So gimmicky and useless that Apple has submitted a patent for curved and wraparound displays.
Of course, when Apple does it you'll be all praise. Typical iHypocrit.
[doublepost=1458396233][/doublepost]
I've never held the S7 but I've held the S6 edge plus plenty of times and my iPhone 6S plus is much easier to hold.
The iPhone 6 series is easier to hold than the S6 series of phones, but the S7 curved the edges of the back to mimmic the Note 5 and it makes a massive difference.
I'd say both the iPhone and S7 are both equal in the feel/hold department now.

Apple submitted the patent in 2011 or 2012, well before Samsung launched their first curved display...
Btw it's not the curved display itself the gimmick pointless feature. It's the way Samsung implemented it.
samsunggalaxys7_2_mwc.jpg

Useless. You could do the same on a flat display.

On the contrary images on the curved edges are unnecessarily distorted. But, hey, it has a curved display ! Cool .... and useless.

An useless demonstration of gimmicks.
I really like what Apple is doing in that respect, managing the phone resources...

What a ridiculous stress test !
8 iterations, lol ... Even more , only 5 for the GPU test.
I already posted this:

Every benchmark is about one minute, so I don't care if your beloved Samsung doesn't throttle after a whopping 8 minutes (lol) of intensive computing. After about 11 minutes it throttle significantly, and after about 22 minutes it halves its performance. Your test, made by a community of known android lovers, is utterly ridiculous and useless. 8 iterations... Lol
The test is so ridiculous that basically no device, even the well know hot Nexus, throttled significantly after only 8 iterations.

Whats ridiculous is this claim of yours.I just played Modern Combat or nearly an hour on an Galaxy S6 and it was consistently running at a much higher framerate than my iPhone 6 for the entire time.I dont know about these scientific benchmarks BUT there was no performance degradation in the hour I played

Interesting to see how even hardcore android supporters found lags and unresponsiveness on the S7 :

we still managed to find lag across the user interface, including random stutters and framedrops. Indeed, our go-to GPU profiling test showed many skipped frames when scrolling through the Play Store, significantly more than our 810 devices running stock or close-to-stock software (Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2). We’ve also encountered random input lockups where performance did not take a hit but we simply couldn’t interact with the UI for a few seconds (repeated instances on the camera app and settings menu, reported by two XDA editors).
And yet my iPhone 6 has lags and apparently so do some 6S Plus as well.

-I see no distortion on the device
-Apple is already gonna use the curved tech in 2018

I've never held the S7 but I've held the S6 edge plus plenty of times and my iPhone 6S plus is much easier to hold.

I dont know about the Edge but I have dropped my iPhone 6 twice.Once it literally slipped out of my pocket when I sat down. The second time, when I was getting in the car,it virtually slipped out of my hand an fell on the pavement.I have since put it in a case after it suffered a couple of dings in the corner. Its too damn large and smooth. In comparison the S6 is MUCH better to hold and the curved back of the S7 should feel even better

easy to hold ? Says who ? You ?
Quite debatable....
Again all I can see there is a pointless curved screen.

Its quite well known to people who own both.I have handled both and the S6 is significantly easier to hold. The 6S Plus in particular looks like a giant monstrosity with its dated bezels in front of the comparitivel smaller S7 Edge.I am sure you will deny this but this is a fact. The iPhone in addition to those dated bezels still has a very smooth back which has landed me in trouble many times

The curved screen is as pointless as 3D Touch is on the iPhone.I know a couple of people who didnt even know this feature existed on their phone and some even forgot about it.Its usefulness depends on the type of user

You are right: a nice gimmick for the wow effect. The Galaxy S7 is so full of that.

Oh and I am sure you are gonna be all praise when Apple comes out with a curved OLED with the heavy irony of Samsung being the primary supplier

[doublepost=1458380627][/doublepost]
For the millionth time: the iPhone 6S+ renders at almost 2K internally so your point is plain no valid.
You can also see that performance wise the 6S+ and the 6S are almost identical, and this is the practical demonstration that it's not about resolution
Actually theres a method of forcing the Plus phones to render native 1080P and it DID make these phones faster for SOME people.

Lol... Yes it must be that... The benchmark said otherwise but if Radon says that his S6 (let me sum up: you have an iPhone , an A8, an S6 and an S7 edge... Cool) doesn't throttle it must be true.

And yet my iPhone 6 has lags and apparently so do some 6S Plus as well.
Sure ! Even the most famous android fancenter, xda developer, said the S7 has lags and unresponsiveness, but again Radon says his iPhone is worse...

On which device ? Because, you know, we start having a little problem understanding what device you own...
Btw on the S7 images ARE DISTORTED near the edges.

s7-and-edge-hands-on-14.jpg

Even Samsung can't defeat physic...

So because YOU dropped your iPhone the S7 is automatically better ?
Seriously...

Curved screen and 3D Touch are two unrelated features...
You know people.... Omg....
And I'm sure 3D Touch isn't working so well on your iPhone 6... Or it was a 6S ? Or a 7 ? I'm confused...

Oh and I am sure you are gonna be all praise when Apple comes out with a curved OLED with the heavy irony of Samsung being the primary supplier
I don't know if it's going to happen, but I'm quite sure Apple implementation will be much better as usual

Really implementation? How's that 3D Touch implementation going? Do me a favor on your iphone. Use 3DT on the weather app.....or maybe the system app. Ok ok it surely will give you useful info for the Apple builtin music app? Surely you can browse your playlists using 3DT? NOT! horrible implementation of 3DT....even Apple's own built in apps do not give useful information 6 months later.
