Gotta be in it to win it
Really implementation? How's that 3D Touch implementation going? Do me a favor on your iphone. Use 3DT on the weather app.....or maybe the system app. Ok ok it surely will give you useful info for the Apple builtin music app? Surely you can browse your playlists using 3DT? NOT! horrible implementation of 3DT....even Apple's own built in apps do not give useful information 6 months later.
3D Touch is going fine; I use it and I like it. 9.3b7 has some nice shortcuts in apples apps. The great thing is you don't have to use it if you don't like it.

The S7 design is better for one VERY BASIC and simple reason : Its easier to hold
[doublepost=1458373921][/doublepost]
Obviously.Considering all the rigging they did in that video with being shot at different times, transition animation scale altered etc.I wouldnt be surprised if Apple paid the guy to make this video
Just as iOS 9 is a better version for one very basic and simple reason: content blocking. ;)

The post i responded that was about Apple's implementation.
I have 5 playlists saved on my iphone. When I use 3DT on the builtin apple music app i get nada....I get a reference to a Beats playlist that does not exist. I don't use Beats music. I also have 4 locations stored in the weather app. 3DT doesn't even work on the weather app....another of Apple's own builtin apps.
Horrible implementation even for their own builtin apps.

It's working great on other apps, even third party, and going to be improved on iOS 9.3 and further on iOS 10. So yes, it's s good implementation today (simply fantastic on Shazam, Phone, Message, Mail, Note, Runtastic and many others) and will be even better tomorrow

will be...maybe could be....should be.....but it isn't now six months later. So your statement about Apple's implementation is full of holes....

What I find is that 3DT tries to do what Android has done with live HS widgets and HS shortcuts for like 5years now, in a more cumbersome manner. It made appreciate what even my old Galaxy S2 can do.

I truly enjoy my iPad Air 2 but there are days when I use iOS and realise that its still behind even Android 4.0 ICS in terms of functionality, its a good thing I always have my Note 4 when its time to be productive.

Nice Try...
But I'm not impressed at your Blatant attempt to trash Samsung and Android.
I'm sorry you aren't impressed, but my failure to meet your expectations are no one's fault but your own.

I trashed nothing nor did I attempt to. I found an interesting video comparing the real-world speed of two flagship phones and posted it for discussion. That was my goal. Mission accomplished.

If other folks get their kicks from rabidly defending--or in your case bashing--tech companies on Apple forums, that's your prerogative and a freedom that you obviously enjoy exercising quite rabidly.

Most users base their buying decision on a few preferences that have nothing to do with a single benchmark.
Of course they do, which is why it was idiotic for Samsung to remove replaceable batteries, water proofing, removable storage, etc. from their previous generation of Galaxy's. Glad they got some of it right this time. Maybe they'll sell a few more units and actually put Apple's feet to the fire more. That means better end products for us. I own no tech stock, so I care only about my purchases, not companies' profits.

Yet I will recognize your emotional connection and commitment to the Cupertino Co.
So many see what they want to see. Objectivity is quite difficult, as the nature of our world views is subjective. It makes it easier for you to define me if you can categorize me. That's your issue to overcome though, not mine. (Besides, I'm not the one so emotionally jaded that I have to get my jollies bashing Cupertino and anyone enthused or excited about them.)

Again , I'm working TODAY with all the apps I listed above (and many others !). Not six months later but TODAY.
Tomorrow will be only better.

I don't even use 3DY anymore on my 6s+. Honestly I forget it is there. To me it adds a level of difficulty that outweighs the benefits of the technology.

No the problem is it was not implemented very well. Even Apple's own builtin apps do not provide pertinent information.
It was rushed and not implemented very well......
Features and technology are supposed to make things easier not add a layer of difficulty.

Yep, for me iOS is far behind Android, especially for working on the go. One example is I can unzip and make comments on client creatives on my Note 4 and give them feedback, rezip and send back while waiting to board a flight, this alone is a huge win for me as I don't have to take out my laptop which is a mission.

How is the problem me? LMAO!!! 1st mistake, blaming the user, when you can improve the product. My point is Android did this in a far better manner long ago without having to take the extra step.

Hopefully Apple eventually figure out a better way to do it, it has the potential but is currently lacking.

One feature I wish Apple would implement is proper file system access to all apps, when I wanted to send a few multiple file formats to a colleague for suggestions on a media plan, I got very frustrated with my iPad.

They do allow this if the app in question has implemented iCloud drive (which all haven't of course). But you can only use iCloud drive, not Dropbox, one drive, Google drive, or local storage.

Outlook is pretty darn good for sending files from multiple cloud services via email, but again not local storage, gotta jailbreak for that. You may be able to send files from local storage via a program like documents by readle and send it through a mail app next, but that is clunky and not fun :)

I feel exactly the same when people moan about me wanting an notification light on Apple devices :)

In one case the feature exists but some don't like it, with the another the feature exists but some don't like like it.:)

And that is a major problem for me. Hopefully one day it will be fixed.

The test is biased. Here's a real test

I cant be the only one who noticed in this video that the S7 is on both Wifi and Cellular which it allows the phone to use both data connections which can also increase the perception of fastness. Even says 'data on' in Facebook app launch.

What are you on about? Its using WiFi and simply showing the Mobile signal as any Android does.

Lol the music app is Apple's own builtin app. How much longer don't hey need to implement it right? It's been 6 months. What about the system app and weather? All builtin Apple apps. How much longer don't hey need to get their in house apps right be their own app developers?

I am fairly certain that it is a feature baked into the OS, that it can use LTE or cellular connection at the same time as Wifi. Much like our wifi assist only on all the time. The feature came after I left android, so sometime after September 2014.

EDIT: It is a Samsung specific feature, called download booster.

If that was TouchWiz, you wouldn't hear the end of it. It would be a catastrophic flaw.

Which doesn't kick in until a 30mb download.
