When you guys use UPS track by reference is it normal for it to only show the last 4 digits of the tracking number with all previous digits displayed as "xxxxxxx"? How can I get the full tracking number?

"Not me" said the flea

That's about the time I completed my order, and it is due to ship Oct. 4-10. Nothing has changed. Still processing. Black Plus 256gb. Makes me wish I'd just sucked it up and order a pink one.
Haha I have a "pink" 6s Plus. I went for the black this year but didn't feel like waiting up till midnight, and ordered at 7am. In years past, I've seen plenty of people who ordered in the morning like me get theirs on launch day. We shall see.

nope. I can't stop refreshing the Order page every hour. still salty I woke up at 3:00am to do this and I'm somehow in the presumed 11% who have a shipping date after 10/4.

edit - before anyone asks, the 11% stat was from this infograph taken from reddit. credit is at the very bottom of the picture.

Thanks for the handy chart

I'm at the same group 10/04 to 10/10..

But in jet black 128GB

No progress no nothing.

I'm just concerned about my card having an issue which I never had but still..

The should consider themselves the lucky bastards they are.
For me never having ordered thru apple I am going back to my bad experiences with Best Buy and att. Sounds like Apple is pretty trustworthy on their delivery dates from all of the previous experiences people have had on this forum.

No way. They appeared to run out within 15 minutes into the preorders.

For confirmation: Is the Verizon model purchased through Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program carrier unlocked? i.e., If I ordered that phone (if I use my friend's Verizon info), I can pop my t-mobile SIM in it and it'll work?

They're good on living up to their dates. Just a matter of whether you're happy with the date they gave you.

apple rep says that the manager said that 4 - 10 oct is the 5th wave :( she was really nice. I actually called for a case problem and asked about the phone.

I'm in the Oct range, hoping I'll get it sooner. I had Sept 23rd, but farted around and applied for the Barclays card, got accepted, then when I got to payment screen the date changed to the Oct date...yeah I screwed that one up

oh and pick up option was never offered for me...it's rediculous that those that got up at 3am EST are going to get their phones after the ones who get it on release date in store

Latest status on my 32GB 7 Plus Matte Black.
I have not received a tracking # and the status is still "Preparing for Shipment."

That's my order too except I didn't wake up right away for my 2:45 am alarm got online at 3:30 am order through at 3:54 am est so I'm in the 9/27-9/29 range which I'm hoping changes since I've gotten it release day the past 4 yrs, if not I'll live lol.

Has anyone's rose gold + 128 shipped yet? Or any rose gold +?
Nope, sitting at Preparing for Shipment as of this morning (I ordered the 256). Some of us are speculating that the rose gold iPhones may already be in the US because they're not the newest color anymore, in which case we may not see much movement until Wednesday or Thursday.

and adding to my previous post, I was in best buy talking to the apple rep and he reiterated that those in the Oct range should get their phones sooner

This isn't always the case. I've had mixed results always ordering from Apple.com or using the app, being diligent in getting card information pre-saved and favorited items. Sometimes, the site just goes wonky or the connection is crap. You can prepare, but there is a certain amount of luck involved. This year, I got lucky. Done by XX:04.

Ordered Black 7+ 128gb AT&T at 2:07 CST with delivery Sept. 16 outright. Stalking the flight to Alaska right now with my UPS account...

What are the odds the phone slips through and gets here early? I know I'm one of the lucky ones with a launch day delivery, but it seems such a waste to have it just sit there right? lol.

One thing I know is that you definitely should not count on finding the phone you wanted at the store on launch day unless you ordered it to pick up at the store and were given a 9/16 date. I've gone thru the long lines and come out with nothing. It's definitely a gamble and only if you have the time to waste that day.

Very unlikely. It has not happened in any widespread way since the iPhone 4. Every year we hear of one or two, but it would be very unlikely to be "the one".

With the 6 pre order, I actually got into the att website 8 minutes early and had my confirmation emails before midnight. People who ordered at 7 and 8 the next morning got theirs on launch day and I got mine the following Tuesday!!!!!

I am. I got 9/16 and can't cancel so that may be a good sign. But I did not order a black plus only a matte 7 128 HB. I wanted the jet black but may have found a case that mimics that finish. I never go without a case, apple care and tempered glass screen protector. Thought my 6 had a broken screen from a drop but only the protector broke. Cheap insurance

That's AT&T. That's really off topic in this thread which is for Apple.com.
