I've always liked my Apple earbuds, at least for everyday use, especially since the redesign. So I'm definitely planning to buy the AirPods, too. And since it's Japan, we don't have to worry about someone trying to steal them out of our ears!
Another member of the 8:01 P.M. club in Incheon. Ug. On a lark, I just called UPS to inquire, and even though my online tracking says "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." the automated system says it will be delivered today. No way do I believe that, but wouldn't it be nice.
Ours are still together but mine went from arrival scan in Icheon to departure scan in zhengzhou. how is that possible? lol
We are all in the same disaster lol. i was looking at previous posts & it showed people having their package delivered in Louisville only to go hong kong. Seems we have a couple of days to go. I'm thinking a Monday delivery now with tuesday the latest
Hey, we are in the same boat, so to speak. And I'm in the SF Bay Area also. My phone will be stuck in Louisville for another day "due to operating conditions." Hope you have better luck!

Both my wife and I as well as my sister in law have phones in the 8:01 club in Incheon. (Now, is that some sort of back alley speakeasy or is it a glitzy, high end place with bottle service?) .
It's kind of amazing how easy it is to get used to quick shipping and accurate tracking and how it sucks when you don't get it.
My problem is I'll be out of town the next couple days. I wonder if I change to have our held at UPS center how long they will keep them?

Yeah it's not looking good. I wonder if its just an error on UPS' end.
For those people I highly doubt their package went all the way back to HK.
I was all excited thinking we might make that flight departing KR but not it seems unlikely.

Ok, well I ordered online with Apple and had a ship date of Oct 12-14. While I believe that date would improve, I started calling around. No one had any 7 plus phones in stock last night so I was just resigned to the fact that I would have to wait until mid October to get my 128 gb Black iPhone +. Out of curiosity, I called my local target and they actually had 1 Black 128gb iPhone +. They put it on hold for me and I went out to get it. Once I got there, I had to cancel my order with Apple to be able to get my upgrade back with AT&T. I was on hold with Apple in Target for 30 minutes before they answered my call to cancel the order. However, after about an hour of working all the kinks out, I now have my iPhone 7+ and am loving it.
Yeah UPS has botched this badly so I believe it to be an error too. When I used to get my pre-orders through FedEx I never had this problem. And I always thought UPS was better. Guess I was wrong lol. Maybe it is possible for our phones to get on that flight, but I don't have any hope it will. I'm already thinking Monday is the new delivery date

It wouldn't make sense for it to have arrived in Incheon, then magically departed zhengzhu again. It has to be an error. Maybe someone rescanned it thinking they forgot to scan it. Only way is to wait until the Inch flight to Anchor leaves.
8:01 Club in the house!! No movement yet. I assume there are large pallets/containers of iPhones and some numbskull at the Incheon hub was asleep on the job. I worked for UPS loading trucks in college (20 years ago, arggh) and I know that some packages don't get scanned, especially if the volume is high and you're busting tail just to get them loaded/sorted. But not scanning whole containers? Meh.
So mine is now at the local processing center. Arrived at 0632 but that's all it shows. I've never received any texts about it's arrivals or departures, that I have set up for. So I wonder if UPS has given up and just going to focus on getting the phones to us instead of tracking every step of the way. According to them mine went from China to Korea to Louisville to Hong Kong to Alaska and back to Louisville. :-/
Apparently that Louisville scan in the middle can be ignored - it was some sort of customs pre-scan that would hopefully expedite delivery once it lands in Louisville.
I think the label would have to be made for saturday delivery. Or am I wrong? I know that's how it works with FedEx
