Thats how it normally works. I do seem to remember on some past launches that they did deliver some Saturday anyway, but I may be wrong. I could see why if they just get so many it would just delay the Monday routes anyway.
I cancelled my order and picked up the 7+ 256GB Matte Black at the Sydney store today. I locked one in using the reservation system this morning. I hope everyone gets their new phones soon.

I got the matte black 7. I've been debating getting a plus but I really like being able to use my phone one handed.
Did your phone come or is it still touring the world? Mine is coming to Delaware. Last activity is an arrival scan in Anchorage yesterday at 2:37 local time. No idea when I'll get it.
Hoping our phone leaves on the UPS99.... however that flight seems to be delayed.
I decided to cancel my Apple preorder which was giving me a ship by date of 10/4-10/10 because my carrier was giving me an earlier date, seeing some people who got the same "ship by" date as I originally did getting their phones delivered is very much frustrating (on my part).

Had a similar issue yesterday where my phone missed a flight out of Louisville. Don't expect your phone today. It will be there tomorrow.
Now I'm just hoping we do actually leave korea today, and don't miss our AK flight...I'd have to say my confidence in UPS is at an all time low.
I have been relatively calm throughout this whole release, but I am starting to lose it.
Same here but when I talked to a rep she said it will be delivered once it reaches destination facility. No confirmation either way. She said it is due to customs and to check back later.
One package on the automated line is scheduled for today other says tomorrow but online shows in Korea with 9/21/16 8:01 arrival scan .

I would love if they deliver it Saturday. And they should because of the catastrophe they have caused with people not getting their phones when they're supposed to. But I'm not keeping my hopes up for that so I'll keep thinking it's coming monday lol

I'm in FL. I know there is no way for today, I'm sure the automated UPS phone thing is just reciting what was the last delivery date I had from UPS before it went to "We have no idea what we're doing nor when we'll get the phone to you". lol
I wouldn't hold your breath. My iPhone has been stuck in Korea since Tuesday Sept 20 for some unknown reason. Right now UPS cannot give me an estimated delivery date. Bummer!
