I have pretty much the exact same scans but mine doesnt show the mechanical delivery exception. Weird
On vehicle for delivery!!!....and I'm on a plane to NY for the weekend. Looking forward to Sunday haha.
Seems all the shipments going through Korea are getting delayed through "mechanical failures", sitting there, etc... It's a far fetched idea but if it came out that Samsung has anything to do with it I wouldn't be too surprised. They got a lot of pull in that country and also going through a rough time with their new phones exploding.
If you do the reserve and pickup from an apple store does that mean you have to sign up to the upgrade programme or can you just pay outright? Also if I could a verizon handset, I read somewhere that they come unlocked and work on both GSM and CDMA? is that correct?

Loads of us are in the same boat or plane...... very annoying - we seemed to have missed the flight to Anchorage so doubtful it will arrive tomorrow.
I am looking at other options. Not getting very far.
Maybe others can chime in but a lady from UPS's iPhone department informed me today that UPS would be making Saturday deliveries if Saturday delivery is available in your area if the package is delayed from Friday.
Like many others my tracking showed the delivery leaving and arriving at the origin location three times this week.
So far UPS has informed me via alerts my package would come today, then after delay updated for Friday, and now after yet another delay no additional info has been provided.
I called prior to the latest delay and was told my package didn't actually leave and come back three times and that it was going through "Normal" security holds. I countered by providing my girlfriends tracking info where her phone was also shipped this week without any of this tracking mess and was told hers "shipped early".
So anticipating yet another delay I asked about Saturday delivery as I live near a UPS HUB and was told iPhones are being shipped on saturdays which I didn't believe so maybe someone can chime in.
For anyone interested my order was a 256GB 7+ black sprint ordered on 9th with Oct delivery date. Due to being an original Oct delivery they aren't offering to do much despite telling me two different days to expect delivery and now who knows. It's a pain as I cancelled my order with sprint that had a launch day delivery to go through Apple and it's messing with my work schedule trying to get off for delivery (I want to switch devices ASAP).
Anyways I know others are in same boat as me and wanted to update with what I was told.
Edit: yep I now have a delay due to mechanical issues as well.

Well the Korean flight isn't even on FlightAware anymore. Looks like the flight was canceled, but I haven't seen any update to my tracking either. (8:01PM Arrival)
Anyone with ATT iPhone 256 7 Plus pre-order on 9/9 with delivery date 10-4 to 10-11 see any movement, My order is still processing no charge on CC, I got my watch yesterday, original delivery was 9/26-9/29. Order email time was 3:29 am CST. Just want to hope that this lot will ship soon. Waiting this year!!
Same here. And the ones that arrived the day after (9/22) are stuck due to mechanical failures. Been trying to get on Apple chat but...waiting for next available specialist for an hour now
For everyone who thinks Apple is not delivering in the right order:
Think about it like this: Apple produces the phone in different colors and sizes. They probably produce them someone equally spread across the variations. As Jet Black is sold out everywhere people that ordered a JB will probably have to wait longer than a rose/gold etc., simply because there is less demand for those phones.
So even if you ordered after someone else, in a variation that is less frequently asked for, you may still get your phone sooner than the other person based on how the current stock situation for apple is.
You'd think and hope they adjust to demand, but that's probably a matter of weeks rather than a matter of days.

According to google it is half way to Anchorage, I just googled ups99 flight tracker and it came up, who knows what is right.
Went through this yesterday as well, waiting for that plane to land and then nothing....
True. But I think most here are frustrated with their shipment being stuck somewhere while others are being passed through
I think Google is just estimating that based on the scheduled departure time. If you look right now on Google, it says "Updated 6h 48m ago". I don't think that bird's really in the air, unfortunately.
I'm one of the stuck ones (8:01s represent!), but I'm hanging on to the hope that it's not really stuck, just UPS scanning or tech screw ups and it's really on it's way.
I was originally upset about getting up in the middle of the night to pre-order as soon as humanly possible, and still being in the 10/4-10/10 shipping range. Apple under-promising and over-delivering when the date got moved up. UPS is just the polar opposite of that right now. It's just a phone. It will get here. Eventually. (I keep telling myself this
