You're all complaining that it's being delayed in transit and what not but I'd kill for mine to just ship right now period. My fear is that my order is being forgotten about every second it sits on "processing items". I continually refresh but why bother...

Edit: I'm clearly whining but not at any of you. It's misplaced anger I'm sorry haha

For those using flightaware.com again consider their service area before abandoning hope :) As someone else noted earlier probably need to wait until UPS 99 is about an hour out of Anchorage before it shows up again on the map. That means in about an hour per Google.

"A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible"

That's what I'm getting from UPS on latest update.

All good man. I didn't mean to sound like an ass, Sorry!

So far nobody knows why, not even UPS or Apple and its annoying as hell lol

Haha its cool man I know you didn't mean to come off that way. I'm so done with Apple and these horrible pre orders.. Makes me not want the phone anymore, such a turn off.! This will be my last time ordering on launch day..

Sorry don't have time to scroll through all these comments im at work.. Is there any logical reason why its stuck ? Ugh
logical? who knows ;) my current guess for the 8:01 club that is stuck in Korea is that the Apple estimated delivery date was far enough out that UPS delayed them and gave priority to those with shorter delivery windows, but what do I know. I'm trying to make sense of why those pallets are just sitting in Korea for 2+ days.

It never did show up at takeoff time though, and other flights are showing that are smack in the middle of the two airports. I have a feeling it never left, but I will be DELIGHTED to be wrong. :D

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2016 12:28 A.M. A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

Anyone else have this? Was originally supposed to be delivered today but since it at in china for about 3 days without movement I knew that wasnt possible but this morning it actually departed and said delivery friday but then I get home and check it and this is what it says now. Unbelievable!
Got the same message. :(

Are you saying for those of us who are waiting in Korea to watch when UPS 99 leaves then check tracking to see a departure scan?

I am definitely going to try and reserve and pickup from an apple store tomorrow. I can't bring myself to go rose gold or gold but will settle for silver since its going to live in an apple leather case anyway.

I need this phone soon, I have priced locked my 6s plus for $480 but can't get rid of it until the new phone arrives....

It seems like everyone that got an 8/22 arrival in incheon is getting this and that everyone with 8/21 arrival in incheon is just sitting there with no update.

Yep - that seems right. Here is my info - part of the 8:01 club:

Also it seems a few people have had no scan between China and KY or some other variations of scans not being done at all. Hopefully that's the case here.

99 doesn't exist today. It did yesterday and yes we lost it from tracking in the pockets. But if you check 99 page, each day there is a flight to AK and then one to KY. Today, only one to KY.

I just spoke with UPS via live chat, here's the transcript:

Brenda R.: Thank you for patiently waiting Greg. I deeply apologize for the delay and the inconvenience this delay may cause. It seems that all Apple packages have encountered a delay in transit due to Apple operating plans and the delivery dates are being affected.

Brenda R.: I understand you need to know when your package will be delivered and I wouldn't deny you further details about this delivery if I had them, but the package has not been scanned again in order to for me to provide you an update.

Once the package gets into the US network a delivery date will be available.

Brenda R.: Please continue monitoring your package to get additional updates. You can request status updates online at

Greg: Is the Korea location an Apple location or a UPS location?

Brenda R.: An Apple location.**

**I'm not sure if this is true, or not.
I was told something similar. They haven't received additional information on the packages that were delayed due to operational issues at the Korea facility.

That google page says it was updated almost 10 hours ago...

I've been tracking it and refreshing. the plane actually moves. It was about halfway a couple hours ago. you can open it up on multiple pages and refresh and see it move.
