Best bet is to call Apple and they can change it no problem for you. Had this problem I think with the 6, 2 years ago.

Thanks! I just tried to "chat" with them about modifying an order and they gave me this back, "Rest assured your order has been received if it appears on Your Orders page. However, at this time, you cannot make changes to your order online. As you can imagine, we are more than a little busy from the excitement of our recent announcements. If you come back in a few hours, you’ll be able to update your order then." So I am guessing I just need to give it a little time and I will try again online and/or call.

Does anyone know how long it takes for it to get to the "preparing shipment" step? I think that is when you officially cannot edit an address any longer.

Im sure this is in the thread, but my email time is 3:11am EDT and I got the black 128 Plus. My delivery date states 27-28th, in cart said 16th. Is everyone seeing the same thing ? Is anyone with black 128 plus have a delivery date of 16th ?

Also, Im 100% sure I added apple care, but final email doesnt have it. I remember before you can add apple care post sale, can you still do that ? Or add it to order now ?

DO A CHAT WITH APPLE TO CHANGE SHIPPING ADDRESS!!!!

It took like an hour before I got connected, but the CSR changed the shipping address on my order, still showing 9/16 delivery. As mentioned a little above, I am on AT&T Family Plan and my phone was shipping to my parents house a few hours away. Figured I'd do a chat, worth a shot, and got the address changed within about 5 minutes, once I got connected to an agent. The change was reflected on my order status before the chat was even over. I also just got an update through Apple Pay that the tax on my order was updated (Northern VA has a higher sales tax than back home).


Thanks for this info!! How did you finally get connected? Just keep refreshing the chat box?

Did anyone else get a reservation number? I woke up this morning with an email saying I have till Sept 10 to finish my order to keep my spot. I'm trying to complete the order but it's timing out.

Same here, got a reservation number at 3:16 am eastern time. Got another email around 7am letting me know I could complete my order but whenever I log and click Continue I get a Page Cannot Be Found error.

I ordered an iPhone 7 Black 32GB (Delivery Sept 16th) and an iPhone 7+ 32GB (Delivery date Sept 27-29) as soon as the page went live.

I checked now and both phones are under "processing items"

iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 256GB T-Mobile: Woke up at 2:55am (ET), started trying the app, I knew it wouldn't come up until 3:01am (ET) but kept trying. 3:01am (ET) came around still nothing but kept trying. 3:05am (ET) still nothing. 3:07am (ET) finally the servers came on. Went right to the iPhone 7 Plus > T-Mobile > Jet Black > 256GB, When I got to the 256GB Menu it already said September 26 > Add it to bag > Check out Still saying September 26, Pay with Apple Pay > get my email and my confirmation both said October 4 - October 10 :(. Although my phone already says processing, not holding my breath for any miracles here. Might track some stores around me for it, but not expecting any to have it, seems Jet Black had next to no supply.

I haven't heard of anyone getting the jb plus on release day. Someone has to have though. Who got through when the rest of us couldn't?!

I got a black 7 Plus 128 GB for delivery next Friday... to my parent's house in southern VA, and I'm in DC area because of being on AT&T family plan. Really annoying. I wanted to do in-store pick-up like I did for my 6, but I didn't get that option and would love to be able to change it. Guessing it's too late for 9/16 pick-up, even if we're able to.

Last few times I held at the UPS location I stood in line for an hour along with everyone else getting a phone. The lady asked if anyone was there for anything other than picking up an iPhone and no one was.

haha really? that's funny. i was in and out at mine but i went like 30-45 minutes after initial opening because i figured the rush would be right when they opened.

I initially tried on my iPhone and not on my Mac but still the same thing, this is so frustrating, can't believe they couldn't get their **** together for today!

Nope, I just started it, and left it alone while I kept doing work. It just had the waiting message with the picture of two "employees" and I brought up the window every now and then and eventually someone was actually there.

I feel completely screwed over this year - I get a new phone every year, and NEVER have a problem. This year, the site didn't come up for me until about :09 past the hour, despite refreshing constantly.

So I add my phone to my cart, see 9/16 delivery, go through (QUICKLY) entering carrier and billing info, and by :12 past the hour, with NO forewarning, I get told that my delivery date is October 4-10, but not until AFTER the order is submitted.

128GB Matte Black, AT&T, 7+, buying outright.
So disappointed and frustrated.

Exactly the same as me - same model same time... same delivery dates (and same model for wife) - YET they are saying the same dates RIGHT now... guessing WE will see ours way earlier. perhaps on the 16th. - hoping anyway.

Same here. I actually just got past that page finally only to get another page cannot be found error.

Seems the 7 are getting earlier ship dates than the Plus ;) Just hope its a great piece and not a like the Note 7s :eek:

Ordered a black AT&T 128 on the app, went right through, delivers 9/16. Tried to order a jet black 256, both app and website kept erroring out. Finally got it to go through on the website, delivery not until 10/26 - 10/31.
Decided to cancel the jet black order and order a regular black one instead. Won't get it on launch day, but October 4-10 is still better than November.
