iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

I got in contact with apple via phone only waited on hold for 30 minutes and the lady changed my address in just a couple minutes. Should be getting a follow up email soon.
I had no problems with the app last night either. the confirmation email came through at 3:05AM EST with the dept 16th date and I was back to sleep shortly there after. can't wait!

My Apple order for the 7 plus says ships 9/23-27 do you guys think I may get it earlier? My T-Mobile order says ships 9/19-26 but I hear that may be just a place holder for release date

i ordered an iPhone 7 - Jet Black - 128GB - ATT when the online Apple store reopened at 3:09 AM and got a delivery date of next Fri, Sept. 16...when i just checked t Apple site at 10:00 AM, it shows order as "preparing for shipment" 
People why do you have preparing for shipment mines still processing and coming sept 16 jet black iPhone 7 128 GB mines on AT&T next
maybe you're just further down the order list and they haven't changed the status yet because they haven't gotten to yours. don't worry, you'll get it!
Same boat here in Australia. I'd imagine our will be sent and stored at store asap so that ordered made over the next few days can be processed to store without a backlog.
Spoke to Apple and here's what they said:
Kim @ Apple: "The website is being overloaded and we're working to resolve the issue to allow users to place their reservation orders"
Me: "Ok that's fine I'll keep trying but what if I'm not able to place my order by the deadline set for my reservation? What then?"
Kim @ Apple: "Then you'll have to place another pre-order with the shipping date pushed back"
Me: "Are you kidding me? You're basically punishing me for having technical difficulties with your website, why would I be punished for it for not being able to place my order on my reservation? Explain to me how any of this makes any sense?"
**SILENCE**

DOn't feel bad - when I pre-ordered my 6+ two years ago a lot of folks had preparing for shipment days before me. I was freaking out that I wasn't going to get my phone on launch day despite it saying it would deliver by launch day. It ended up my phone was already in the US in a UPS holding warehouse in PA. My phone showed no movement until the day before and I received my phone by 930 am on launch day. The other folks that had movement earlier literally had their phones being shipped from China. It seems there's some stock already here in the US and that determines how soon your phone starts moving but you should still get it on Launch day if that's what your order says on your account page.

So the reservations already have a predetermined ship date. I also have a reservation, but placed a separate order afterwards, so I can't access it. Wish we had a way of knowing the ship date associated with the reservation.
Ordered a 128 GB Silver iPhone 7. Got into the Apple Store app at 3:06 AM, finished ordering at 3:09 AM.
I chose Apple Store pickup on 9/16 at 8:00 AM - hopefully it will be pretty painless!

Its just a phone... I know, its new, but man, things like this happen, just chill, its not a kidney for a transplant.
Maybe it's true like I'm thinking it's at the Harrisburg pa facility that 1 hr away maybe that's why it's still not processing
Says the person who was able to complete their pre-order......... give me a break smfh
That's exactly where my phone was a couple of years ago and I'm outside of Richmond, VA and still got my phone early on launch day.
BTW- my phone is also still in "processing" and my order was complete by 3:06 am ET
I'm in Lehigh valley pa all the iPhone I order came from Harrisburg pa facility
have a reservation to complete order for black 128GB 7+ but whenever I try to complete the order it gets to one page and says "page cannot be found"
For anyone who needs to make a change to their shipping address, it looks like it could be done on the "orders" page on Apple's site.
