iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Just got off the phone with apple. I was about to change the address to my new home address since I'm moving Oct 1, and they were able to expedite the shipping times for my iPhone 7+ 256GB Jet Black.

My date is now showing SEPT 22-29th. I ordered through the app store at 3:08AM EST with Apple Pay.

How did they expedite your shipping? Like as in just a faster shipping method or they are actually shipping it to you sooner than originally anticipated?

I tried to order a 7 Plus unlocked, outright and it wanted me to enter my Verizon account info and then listed a $20 upgrade fee...there is no upgrade fee, I'm not doing an upgrade with Verizon. I'm just buying the phone. It never would just let me buy one unlocked without related to the carrier so I didn't bother...I have unlimited data with Verizon so I can't and don't upgrade through them.

Mine is saying the exact same thing. Can't ship it. Something is messed up. So frustrating. I've been on hold for 1 hr. 45 min and no answer yet

I got the same thing. Spoke to a rep this AM, she had to take my info and I'm waiting on a call back. She said there was nothing wrong with my account (with apple or att) but didn't have an answer. She also said that they probably wouldn't be able to do anything at the store since you can't reserve them... very strange

That's what I was thinking too. I'm in Michigan but all my previous years ordering the iPhone it always ends up in Harrisburg, PA at some point too. Hopefully they are already there

Ghost charge?? what do you mean by that?

That's the charge that goes on your card at the time you please the order, basically just to verify that the funds are available. It's not an *actual* charge and it'll drop back off of the statement in a couple of days, then reappear once the phone has shipped.

Got my order confirmation email at 12:03AM PST

I ordered 2:23am CST (Plus, 128gb, silver) and my order changed to 'Preparing for Shipment' around 9:15am this morning. It says it will be delivered on 09/16!

hey everyone - sorry for just jumping in here, but I had a quick question I am hoping someone can answer...
Does anyone know how to change the shipping address? I placed the order basically in my sleep last night and it went to my old address (just moved last month). My AT&T account had the old address, but I just updated that as well. When I go into order details to try and update the address, it gives me this message - According to the policy of your wireless service provider, the iPhone in this order can only be shipped to your current wireless billing address. Other items can be shipped to different addresses.

I am worried because my old address is in a different state, so there would be no easy way to access it.

That was the case for mine last year for the 6s plus and sister 6s both were from Harrisburg pa I think it at Harrisburg facilty it will be there for delivery Friday

i'm probably the only one.. but i think it's hilarious how people are throwing a fit getting their iphones 2-3 weeks after release date. i mean, you've been using your current iphone for at least a year if not more, whats 2-3 weeks more?

I think it's more that people stayed up till 3am and then within 15 minutes the date was already delayed by weeks. The whole idea of preorder was to get it on release day, not 2 weeks or more later.

Hope it will be the same story as my Apple Watch. It had a delivery date of May 12-26 but got delivered on April 30.

I ordered my silver 32GB 7 Plus at 09:13(Austria) since the store wouldn't load earlier and I'm still in the processing items stage. The strange thing to me is, that my debit card still hasn't been charged. Is that normal? Delivery estimate is September 16th.

Mine still hasn't been charged either and that is completely normal. I ordered at 12:08 PDT (in California). Delivery set for 9/16, still in "processing" stage. They usually don't charge the card until right before the phone ships.

I ordered a 7 with the iPhone Upgrade Program. I am an authorized user on my families ATT account however my ID address does not match their billing address on the account. Anyone know if they're going to be strict about this requirement from http://www.apple.com/shop/help/iphone#pickup ?
