My 256 GB Silver 7+ for AT&T switched to preparing for shipment last night after my credit card was charged.

Just noticed on the my orders page it says it ships in 6-8 business days but is due for 27-29 delivery? I thought Apple overnighted the phones?

So

Sometimes it counts as being dispatched from the factory and other times the day before you get it, that's happened to me before with my 6+ but hopefully the dates are conservative and will get moved closer.

Right, because it's actual M-F business days, and it's 6-8 days from the launch day. That puts it at 27th-29th.

Lot 23E. Somewhere in Georgia.
I will suggest that if anyone is experiencing late october ot november dates. You can be sure that by mid october or check in weekly there will be these phones in stock at some or other location. Even last year week after launch i showed up to costco and picked up another 6s and they had stock. Which is not advertised.

Keep eye open at apple stores, bestbuy instore shipments, etc.

This is true. This year is more like 2013 with the gold 5s. Lots of people had late October/early November ship dates, but if you were deligent you could find one in stores a week or so after launch day.

I'm in the 9/27-9/29 crowd, but if I don't see that it's been moved up by Wednesday I'm going to cancel it. I'm positive I can find what I want before the end of the month.

I had the same thing. However I do have a pending charge from apple for the Tax of the phone now but still nothing from Citizens. I also got an email from citizens with my loan info and how to set up my account.

Same here. Got the email from Citizens saying I was approved a few hours after I pre-ordered. There's no sales tax here in Oregon so I'm not showing any pending charge currently. Glad I'm not the only one.

The delivery date was shown before confirming the order. It's what you agreed to when hitting submit.

Actually I originally had a 9/16 date but the Apple Store app froze and I had to start over. Ya I agreed to the later date. You need to chill your getting your phone on the 16th. Don't worry I'll be getting mine after you on 9/20

Yep. It took me a bit to confirm my order and I still got the 16th since I had it in my cart and ready to go. Had some issue with entering my information and it took about 10 minutes longer than it should have. As long as you had the phone in your cart and you were in the stage of entering in your payment and shipment info, you were locked into that delivery date.

Order was a Verizon 128 Matte Black Plus if anyone wanted to know.

I'm confused. So what people are trying to get expedited shipping? This is literally the first time in all the years I've been on these forums that I've head of this. Are people with the 16th delivery day trying to get this? You won't ever get the phone before release day, that is a fact. I woke up in the middle of the night to order the phone so I could get it on the 16th. How does that make me entitied. Either your phone is sitting on a pre-packed palette in Kentucky or it's coming straight from China. Any shipping estimate after release day is inflated. I've been in that position because of a return and it sucks but they are working as hard as they can.

What I'm hoping is since some of us have delivery dates 9/26-10/4 , that they might move up next week. Maybe, there's a chance that our phones are in Kentucky somewhere ready to be dispatch, the first wave of pre orders. That's just wishful thinking:)

Its for the people who didn't get the 16th date.
