*refreshes dpd app* still not at the depot, let the wait begin.
Don't worry had this plenty of times. You'll probably get a text around 10am about delivery. As long as they have the phone you should get it today. Unless you live in the middle of no where that is :)

Just got "the text" this morning don't mind a delay just EE have lied all week and they are not forthcoming in offering an actual timescale I ordered at 8am last Friday! Gonna ring them today and if they give me more bs about it will be with you over the weekend etc. I am gonna kick off properly! Why can't they just be honest!?

Interesting that John Lewis does not offer the 2 year guarantee with 7+ 128 and 256gb

Apparently JL only had the 128GB Plus in Jet Black. And they had like 2 of them.

Crazy!
Well I'm sat in work waiting for the texts from my sisters about how pretty their new 7's are, and I get to go home to... no phone! :p

Sad times, I've never known such a disappointing Apple launch.
Even for those who pre-ordered directly from Apple where you were normally always guaranteed a launch day delivery. Although I guess that was before they introduced the Plus size which they clearly haven't made enough of. Stupidly.

So over on the EE site a few have had texts about preparing delivery. And have a number for DPD that is automated that you can enter your phone number to check. 0121 275 0500

Hope this helps someone. I'm s**** out of luck though.

Still waiting on the text to arrange delivery like I was told I would receive this morning. I'll be sans phone after 9am so I won't know if I get a text or anything!

I was a Note 7 owner first then i was told it could blow up so i returned and cancelled contract.I then decided ok i will go with apple they look after you better and now i wont get my phone today i have been driven around the god dam bend and fuming.

Just spoken with helpful bloke at EE. Essentially it would appear that Apple have pulled a huge number of units from them and as such do not appear to be offering any form of compensation to anyone who expected orders today.

I'd been contacting them all week (+128GB Matte) and was assured a number of times that delivery would be today but he was told that from the start of the week the only estimates they should have been giving were 21 days (28 days for JB).

On the subject of text messages, EE are awaiting stock and he said that they would send out further messages to keep customers updated as to when they would receive their orders.

All you need now is Apple to put out a press release and say in better terms "we ****ed up, we screwed the numbers, we had to pull stock back, we bad" it probably wont happen what they will do is hail this as "the best iPhone launch yet"

Think that's what I expected.

Honestly this isn't the carriers fault this is all on apple due to them under rating the demand

Wait, how can Americans get it before us? They're behind us timezone-wise. I'm confused.
I think they're embargo'd reviewers to be honest. The Australians and Kiwis have theirs now.

Some US people are being offered deals based on the shortage of stock because they know they're not getting their phone today.
