The tech armor corning and the Patchworks ITG will both bend like that. I took mine off to try others and both I bent until they broke. Both bent that far and than shattered but stayed in 1 piece, I guess the glass is bonded to plastic?
Zagg claims:
Sapphire Defense features the ultimate combination of screen protection: the impact component of traditional screen protection, sapphire-infused scratch resistance, and properties of smooth tempered glass. Together, they combine to create a virtually indestructible screen protector.

A proprietary process infuses sapphire crystals, one of the hardest minerals in the world, into the screen protector for unmatched scratch protection with a super smooth finish.

Here's what I know: it's crazy expensive and the reviews have not been kind. I'm staying away.

Is there a general consensus on regular screen protectors vs edge to edge screen protectors?

So I found possibly the best edge to edge screen protector on Amazon. Here's the link to the 7+ version (it seems the black is out of stock) ]The adhesive had almost a rubber cement smell and adhered perfectly.

iPhone 7 Plus (5.5inch) Full Screen Tempered Glass Screen Protector, BELUGA [TRUE 3D Curved Glass Edge] [Edge to Edge] Enhanced Look & Feel [3D White] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7W5AP7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_xwrnybHQQ3HV3

Screen feels just like a naked screen and the oleophobic coating seems to be top notch.

As you can see with the pics below, the entire home button has adhesive around it (although it's not perfect). The edges are better than any other edge to edge I've had or seen in this thread.

Hope it's as good as you say. Packaging looks nearly identical to several others.

Those edges don't look rounded at all. My gdsmith ice max v2 aka knight looks better than that.

Look here: Post 1229 and the very next post (1230). Almost identical packaging to this. Probably all the same or very similar.

EDIT: Hahaha. That was your post. lol

This one is entirely different than the Quirkio. All of the packaging is going to look similar, not much you can do with a single thin piece of glass.

I had the Belkin Invisiglass installed at the Apple store the other day and have some haloing on both sides of the phone. Not horrible but definitely noticeable. Is Apple good about replacing this if I take it in? And do I need a genius appointment for this? I'd hope not.

Yes. That's not acceptable. They will take care of you and stand behind their product/service.

I stopped by the Apple Store at lunch and they agreed it was coming up at the edges. He installed 2 more and both did the exact same thing. They gave me the option of a refund or just accepting as-is. I took a refund. I'm sporting a naked screen for now.

Sounds like your iPhone's glass has a slightly larger curve. My 6 was that way. Glad they took care of you.

Any good suggestions for a case that works well with an e2e? I'm using a case friendly tgp now with a spigen slim armor and I have read that this case won't work with an e2e. Wanna give one a try.

Dang. That's disappointing. I thought they were the same size screen. Guess I will have to buy a different one.

Thank you
They are the same screen size, yes, but the cutout for the earpiece is different. I believe sensors are in slightly different location as well.

You can search amazon for 'case-friendly' or 'case compatible' e2e screen protectors, there should be a few brands.

I've had luck in the past with tateguard 2.5D (non-curved, but still e2e with the black or white borders) and Smash-it 2.5D (those two brands are eerily similar). No issues with those brands with any of my cases including a load of popular spigen cases. Don't go for full curved 3D e2e as you will more than likely get lifting.

Edit: sorry, I just re-read your post and you're asking for a case, not screen protector. What's the case friendly screen protector that you've got? If it's anything like the tateguard or smash-it ones then a lot of cases should work.

It's a yootech. Just covers the lcd, nothing at all on th edges. Wanted to get one of the ones with the black borders that covers the entire screen, but that won't work with my current case. So, I figured someone that is using a e2e might have a recommendation on a good case.

Does such a thing exist?: E2E where the area over the proximity sensor is cut out, no glass at all, like over the earpiece?
