Almost the same EXACT thing happened to me last year. Ordered a 6S Plus Gold, went to sign the EIP and the guy put in an order for the damn 6 Plus Gold, the EXACT phone I already had! Took me almost 24 hours to get it straightened out and I "lost" my place at the front of the "line" for first shipments.
Tbh I was on the fence about which black I wanted, so I'm not too mad about it. Maybe it was a sign lol. Looks more classy anyway. I'd be livid if I was sent a 7 oppose to a 7+ though lol

called in at 3am on the dot. got through right away. rep was finishing up on my first order and recapping then the call dropped. Never called me back and now i can't get back through to finish the order. FML
 
So i placed an online order at 258 i got the first EIP email. I havent gotten a confirmation one yet. When i went to submit order the screen froze and gave me and error. I tried again and screen stayed dim after minutes of the rolling circle. So i called told him what happened and gave him the order number i got. He said he sees the order and it went through and i wont be charged until it ships. Can anyone confirm this? Or is my leg being pulled and im about to get screwed??
I got this as well "Won't charge until shipped" :)

I ordered at 1210PDT, 7 plus in black, 256gb. Got the EIP email but no confirmation email yet. I also started the trade in, and got an email about that.

Still great customer service with theses challenges. Going to be a long night for everyone.

How much did you guys who purchased the one end up having to pay right now? Upfront.

I totally forgot to think about the taxes + sim card fee upfront, and only have about $35 dollars in my checking account.

Damn!
 
I think T-Mobile and the rest of the carriers have their own set-aside stock.
I'm sure they do, just commenting more on overall demand or first indication of supply constraints. I was cruising the Apple website checking on other models and they're pretty much all starting to slip past the 16th already.

it can take a few days to for that to be sent! i took me a week heck i dont think i ever got one

Gonna have to go in store for my mom's. Got my grandpa's EIP ordered at 2:58 AM. My phone ordered through Apple. By 3:05 T-Mo's site was dead. I've been on hold for 20 min with T-Mo.


Damn are you ordering for the whole family? They better be providing you coffee and donuts lol

Got it in! 128 Black 7+. It says shipping 9/19-9/26.
Where do you see a shipping date? Online? My rep said I'd have it by the 18th which is weird lol
