So I am calling now since my first rep told me to try again later because the system was down but I'm on hold in queue

I've been sitting here with my rep for 38 minutes as she yells at her screen.

Called into TMO earlier to confirm account information. The rep had told me he will call me at 2:01 am.
Well, time rolled around, and no phone call. So, I just called 611, and I was also the reps 'first' pre-order.
Got iPhone 7 Plus, 128GB, Jet Black (JoD)
Shipment Date of 9/15/16

Went way smoother than the last two years of iPhone upgrades.

did anyone actually get a 9/16 ship date? I ordered BEFORE 3 am and got a 9/19 ship date for a black 7 plus

I do as well, I think that either A). 9/19 is a "placeholder" date for those of us who ordered early and we'll get it on launch or B). 9/19 is the actual date and the Jet Black is this years Rose Good and ALOT of people are going to be pissed when our orders get pushed to "backordered" status.....
 
Ordered online on my computer from Verizon website. iPhone 7 black 128gb and iPhone 7 gold 128gb both with shipping dates of 9/16..here's hoping nothing changes. I already have my confirmation email.
 
I got a ship date of 9/16 for my 7 jet black. Ordered in at 12:04.
wow. When I ordered the Jet Black wasn't even online yet lol. I was logged in at the phone screen before 3am and just kept refreshing and Black and Silver were the only ones up. Maybe because I got a 256gb, but who knows.
 
For me trying to do the JOD has been a pain. I was on hold for a bit but their systems are down. The guy tried to put my order in but no go. He will contact me back once he is able to go through... ugh...
 
Where do you see a shipping date? Online? My rep said I'd have it by the 18th which is weird lol

So if I'm just getting the "free" 32gb model, it would just be the taxes then right? About $72? + $20 sim kit?


About $92 or so?

And this is charged to my card once the phone ships correct? I'm trying to get an answer because like I said, I only have $35 in my checking 'til I get paid next week.
 
40 minutes on the line, they told me there are issues with the Jump upgrade that cannot be resolved until a few hours. So they recommended that I upgrade it with a 2 year contract and other steps into returning etc. I don't even know what he was talking about. So we ended the call with no progress.........
 
T-Mobile is a joke man lol. Not even sure why I get my hopes up that they'll figure out hyped releases.

Been on hold for 30 minutes now after being told my hold time would be 10 minutes. Can't even access the website. Servers crashed.

Seems like business as usual.

Aaaaaaaand I quit lol. On hold now for 44 minutes, system failed. Gonna stick with my 6s plus for another year. This is rediculous.
 
Charged the $1 pre-auth fee to my credit card that I used for purchase. Total was $188 due to owing about $60ish on one of my lines
 
Man there messing with us Jump on Demand customers. This is BS been on the phone for more than 43 min and it keeps giving an error.

Nothing is charged until the device readies shipment. It might not iterally be the day it ships. I recall like 48-ish hours last year.
 
Well after 40 min on hold I have now been let go. They are supposed to call back when things get back up. I asked and they said they had no idea how long it would take.

Agreed. I was hoping they finally got it right this year. Online ordering is dead. Phone ordering is long hold/wait times. Maybe by the iPhone 9 they'll learn how to handle launches.
 
She is saying there are issues with jump on demands because they are having that special and considering them trade ins.

Causing internal system issues.

45 minutes on the line with this rep. Hooting and yelling in the background, no progress but she says she keeps trying.

I really don't want to hang up at this point but we are both pretty upset that we aren't getting anywhere.
