I guess some of us will be waiting 2 months for our phones despite being one of the first to call and no progress happening.

This is one of the (many) things that is worrying/annoying me. I'm afraid that I'll be moved to the back of the line because when the system comes back up they're going to be taking calls for new orders and mine will probably be manually entered by an intern somewhere after everyone else goes home.

It's so dumb because I was prepared and did everything on my part to ensure I get one on launch day, but tmobile refuses to get better servers.

The reps keep saying "You won't lose your place in line if we call you back". How is this possible when their systems are messed up?

There is no way I'm going to the front of the line in 4-5 hrs.

I can only hope that T-Mobile has not been able to sell half of their allocated iPhone 7 inventory so that when the system does come back online there are still phones left.

yep order confirmed for the 19-26 because I didn't do a JOD. Meh well I guess it's either go through the burden of JOD which orders aren't being placed to a firm order date. Adios guys it is 4 AM and I think I am okay with the following week. Less stressful though I wish someone who pre-ordered this early would get the device on launch day.

Damn are you ordering for the whole family? They better be providing you coffee and donuts lol

Finally. Done.

I got grandpa's phone ordered at 2:57 AM, lol. Mine was next at 3:07 AM.

Only just now got my mom's ordered. The website, in typical T-Mobile fashion, completely died and the phone reps were useless and wanted to setup callbacks. I finally got the website to work just now and placed an order.

The trade-in section of the website is dead, no surprise. I just sent an email to a guy in executive care who helps me to make sure the trade-in deal is applied to both my mom's line and my grandfather's line.

Thankfully, I ordered mine through Apple and paid via Apple Pay so no fuss. :)

I'm just really broke now...

Summary:

iPhone 7 Plus / 128 GB / Black - ordered on Apple Store app, delivery on launch day.
iPhone 7 / 32 GB / Black - ordered on T-Mobile.com, delivery on launch day.
iPhone 7 / 32 GB / Rose Gold - ordered on T-Mobile.com, possible delivery on launch day. An hour ago it said ships by end of September, when I ordered it said delivers by 9/16. So we will see.

Man, I'm tired.

I called back the reps' to see if another rep would have luck. this one is saying jod can't preorder, and trying to ******** explain how JOD works and how they can't do any orders with JOD till the 16th when they have the phones in hand. He is adamant he can't place jod orders till the 16th. I'm baffled how this is this misinformed. Clearly, he's ****ing clueless, but this is what we're working with. Its a Pre-order huge event and no one even has the right info or a working system..

Original guy is supposed to call me back at 6pm est to place my order and I'll apparently keep my spot in line from back at 3est. No idea or trust in that one. This preorder thing is pretty much done for me.

Yeah I think they want us off JOD. Lol. I don't mind to much as iPhones tend to retain more of there value so I think when I jump it won't be as bad. JOD orders always have problems, you can't even see order details because usually it errors out. I remember with the note7 people saying there shipping date changed and I was like I can't see anything. Lol. John, this is what you need to work on. But on a positive note the reps were nice. I actually called 2 minutes before it went live and he offered to call back at 12:01. Of course it it was more like 12:04. Lol. But I was happy with him. And he spoke perfect English. Says he's working a double today for the iphone orders.

Is everyone paying an upgrade fee with Jump on Demand?
Since Apple is not offering iPhone 7 at 16gb or 64gb did anyone bypass the fee ($149) to go from 64gb iPhone 6 to 128gb iPhone 7?

Ok, that just took 2 hours and 42 minutes. So let me get this straight, I have to trade in a phone AND pay a down payment for Jump on Demand? I just switched from ATT and I'm trying to figure out how this works out financially. At least I got the 2 iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Jet Blacks ordered.

No Jump on Demand is no down payment required. You are pay for the privilege of having more storage. Trust me it's better that way. With the Note 7 they let me preorder with no down payment and my monthly was going to be 42 a Month.

So I was able to order online. Does the EIP agreement come through email or was it the thing I signed through the preorder process before the credit card info?

7+ Jet Black 128GB - Est. 10/25-11/11

Got disconnected from the first rep and they didn't call back. Got on with another rep. She kept trying to get the order to go through while asking me to keep trying the website. 2h45m later, the website let me order. She's going to call me in the morning to make sure everything looks good.

Although I take these shipping estimates with a grain of salt, I'm sure I could have had the phone much, much sooner. Not knocking the sales rep, she was completely awesome and patient, but no doubt T-Mobile's systems and processes are frustrating.

Oh well.. Time for work! It's been a hell of a night.

When you write "on a computer" does an iPhone count? Because in 6 hours I'm headed across the state and will only have iPhone access till tomorrow night. ARGH at tmobile!
iPhone will not do, must be a computer. And make sure it's signed within 48 hours or they will cancel it.

Great... I'm hosed unless those EIPs come through in the next six hours.

Just found this on the tmobile EIP page:

Can I sign the EIP agreement on my mobile device?
If you order a new device with EIP or JUMP! On Demand through 1-800-T-MOBILE (1-800-866-2453), you have the option to review and approve the handset agreement right from your device.
