From what I've seen a lot of us with + 32gb in silver and gold are in this time group.
Any jet black phones get CC charge or ship lately?
I am waiting for my matte black, no CC charge yet.

My matte 7 is still processing.
What's making it hard for me, though, is my mom's 7 (rose gold) arrived on the 16th. She waited until TODAY to set it up (she's 65). Just knowing that she's had the phone all weekend sitting in a box, while I wait drooling is aggregating!
Here we are looking at the freaking UPS planes in China, hoping for a status update and she's just chilling the entire weekend with her phone in a box....

Actually, I disagree. Apple under manufacturers / under delivers all launch devices. Everything is very carefully calculated.
There's a reason they invest so much time into every aspect of the iPhone. Down to the amount of time it takes for the box suction to reveal the device. 1 goal in mind... anticipation... I'm an ex corporate employee. Middle management.
Received my wife's 7 jet black today. I ordered a 7 plus jet black at the same time. Got charged for hers last Wednesday, shipped Friday, and received today. Still no charge for my plus. No shipping. Nada. I have a 9/19-9/26 shipping estimate, so I guess I'll keep quiet until then.
No change or any charges for me as well. Times of order and EIB within 5 minutes of me.
Still no update on my 2 orders: 128gb Jet Black and 128bg Matte Black. No charge, no delivery date change. This was put in within the first 5 min and "prioritized by exec team later that day" (LOL) Last time I spoke with her, late last week, she assured me the matte black one would be into them by Sunday and out to me by Tuesday - clearly that was a lie. lol (feel like I'm on the maury show with these people).
I haven't nagged them, I keep hoping/trusting them that this will resolve itself sometime before next year. Kinda disappointing everyone's stuff is this delayed.

It is probably slightly exagerrated.
How often will your phone be under heavy load when it is up to your ear when you are on a call?
Mine hasn't been delayed, the shipping estimate has been the same since I ordered, 9/19 - 9/26.

You're probably right but what a YouTuber mentioned was what if you're using the camera which does use quite a bit of CPU power to record a video? Hopefully the mic won't pick it up.
I think it's slightly overblown. My Galaxy S7E made strange noises all the time which sound like what the ingrates who actually got their phone are complaining about. If it turns out to be something unanticipated, I have no doubts that Apple will remedy the situation in a responsible fashion. If it needed to be said, explosions are worse than sporadic hissing.
Did they test it out, or was it just pure speculation?
