My brother always makes fun of me for pre ordering every year since he just walks into att and gets the phone he wants. This time, we walks into att again and walks out with his phone. I'm still waiting for my preorder I ordered at 12:05am on preorder day.

So tempted to go grab one of the many matte 128+ I'm seeing by att, Sprint or Verizon in the NYC Apple stores

Oh yeah, most jump are useless or a huge hassle. Since there are zero jump credits this year, I've cancelled my orders to buy direct from apple this year.

As suspected. This is a non issue. People are carrying on like the phones might be mistaken for a snake or something. Folks just desperate for Apple to screw up it seems.
