You shouldn't have been charged that if you participate in JOD. Call/Tweet/Chat at them to have that credited back.
Weird.

can someone confirm if you can do 2 EIP order with tradein offer on one line?

My first order for iph7 is processed and got tracking number. Now same line is showing upgrade eligible when I login to my-tmobile.com. This is the same line for which the first iph7 order is processed and shipped (ordered on 9/9)

Not sure how the trade in will work? Is the trade in applied to individual line or EIP contract number?

Anyone ?

Those with a shipping date of 11/01 for the Black iPhone Plus 128GB, go ahead and go to a T-Mobile store this friday and see if you can pick one up, that way i can get my 11/01 iP7+ Black 128gb faster. :D

Maybe.. I never thought I'd use out a full 64GB but I've got 2GBs free and I'm utilizing iCloud to the fullest. I've got a 200GB plan (free) and it gets used with all my devices + MBP (Sierra)

i have 112GB on my iPhone and MBP with public beta so i know the feeling of not enough room.

If the phone gets rejected they still keep it and you still lose....

Now on this site: http://www.t-mobile.com/offer/apple-iphone-deals.html
Scroll down the FAQ section:

How do I get the offer if my iPhone 7 is being shipped to me?

When you get your new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, you must complete the trade-in to qualify for the offer.

When we receive your trade-in device, we will inspect the device to ensure it meets our inspection requirements. If it does, you will see a one-time bill credit for the value of your trade-in. If the device doesn’t meet inspection requirements, you will get the option to have the trade-in device returned to you. If you choose to have your device returned, you will no longer qualify for the offer and will not receive any value for your trade-in.

You can expect to receive your bill credit within 2-3 bill cycles.

It mentions that you can get your device returned to you if it gets rejected.

Nickle and Diming is not customer friendly, and they tout themselves as being unlike the other carriers and being focused around the customers' wants. Generally they are. But then they pull some stupid greedy stunt like this.

I agree it sucks. But at least they're open and upfront about it. The worst is hidden fee's or add ons you never knew about.

You had them keep your trade-ins? Did you try to contact TMO and if you did what did they say? It seems unfair for them to keep your fully functional device due to some scratches on the body and not the screen.

EIP are traded in by individual lines. 1 for 1

Thanks,

Searched slickdeal thread and one guy said he has multiple EIP on the same line. Post #2778

Looks to me EIP are attached to the account rather then per line?? multiple device within EIP ??

"Keep in mind, If your EIP plan was created after Aug. 25, 2013, then you can choose to pay off a specific device's EIP on your account. If your EIP plan was created before that date, then you can choose to pay off a specific EIP on your account, but not a specific device within an EIP"

What he is referring to is he bought a phone on an EIP, traded that in then got another phone for the same number with another EIP.

Basically he is paying 2 different EIP payments for one line. really dumb.

I can agree with you on that. And it is technically better than VZW & ATT in that you can avoid it by buying online or being on JOD. I don't think you can sidestep their fees. Doesn't make it great, just slightly less sucky than the competition's.
