Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Verizon Pre-Order Thread

Mine at checkout for my 128 jet black said 10/5 and my confirmation email says the same thing

I was confused also which one was the jet black. I noticed the last black color automatically choose 128 gb so I figured it was that one. Also that black looked a little bit shinier so that's the one I wanted.

Yeah I noticed they don't exactly differentiate between matte black and jet black on their site. I just clicked the black circles until it said jet black in the specs when ordering.

Odd, email says 10/5, and then I checked the order status a bit ago and it said 10/5 which made sense. But now I checked the order status again and it says 10/12! I got my order in at around 12:20 am PST

My e-mail order confirmation does not show the 2 GB data bonus. (I got the 7 Plus on device payment with the 12 GB plan.)

Does it show on anyone else's?

So I ordered my phone at 3:00 AM when everyone else did and it still says processing. I haven't received a confirmation email either. My original ship date was 9/23 because by the time everything loaded I guess the 9/16 date had slipped. Still hoping it will get bumped up and I'll get it next Friday. I've never had a problem ordering from Verizon's website, but this time it was a complete disaster.

Yes, I have the same plan and it says BONUS DATA 2GB/MO on both of my orders.

I am a dummy and set my alarm for 4 am instead of 3 am, but I submitted my order for a 256GB Matte Black 7+. Says it will deliver by 9/23. I can live with that.

lol now my ship date changed from 9/28 (order email) to 10/5 on the website. Still think it comes launch day but this is always so fun to track.

Why do you think it would still come launch day? I have seen some comments about that. This is my first time ordering through Verizon. Is that typical? Getting it early?

Oh yeah. It's pretty common that the ship dates show far out right away but the phones come on launch day.

Is this the 2GB bonus data for LIFE? Because I heard that's only available on XL and higher and I only have L but I got the 2GB so I'm not sure if it actually lasts more than year.

Normally you get a shipment confirmation and your card is charged first. Look for next Wednesday or Thursday.

Placed an order for 7+ Black 256G (09/23) and 7+ Rose Gold 128G (09/16). Conf. email shows me 09/23 as delivery date. So, does Verizon usually ship separately if each item in order has different delivery date?

Maybe that is the $410 option I saw on Apple's web site with 2 year contract. The special. I guess I could have done this, even though I was planning to hand down my phone to family. I could have taken the $650 savings, and use that to buy a new SE for the family member I was handing down to

I didn't want to mess up my day by getting up at 2am local. Did that 2 years ago. Got up at 5am local and got the 128GB Matte Black 7+ for Verizon with 9/23 delivery date.

I'm doubling my storage from the 6. Pictures are bigger, so extra space can come in handy. But I also have an iPad with 128GB, and if I want to carry movies for trips, that is a better choice.

This is not our first rodeo unfortunately, but based on experience from previous generational launches, if you ordered a few hours after launch you MOST LIKELY would get your phone delivered to your place ON launch day.

Just got off with VZW Chat and said the 9/23 date is their "safe" date, and he fully expects all ship dates to be bumped. They didn't want to over commit and under deliver. They want to do the opposite. Hopefully, this eases some worries...#grainofsalt

Thanks for the info. Yea I have typically gone directly through Apple. I ordered right at 4 am though so I am hoping to get it on launch day. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Oh I'm sure he's ok. 2 years ago I ordered my 6+ at 5:30am CT and got mine on launch day.
