I have a 6s that is on the apple upgrade program so i checked for stock availability through that and reserved for in store pick up. When i went inside the store I said I'm just going to pay full price and paid full price and walked out with a 7+ 128 MB
I don't know if they're favoring current customers. I've been a customer for a while now, going on 7 years, and my pre-order 128 GB 7+ silver was supposed to ship 9-28, it is now arriving Tuesday. I also paid outright, ordered and received confirmation email on 9/9 by 3:12 am eastern. I just think things are really random.I've been watching the forum while awaiting some kind of update from Verizon, here's my preorder details to add to the stats:
- iPhone 7+ MB 128gb
- iPhone 7 MB 128gb
- I ordered these on the same order
- Confirmation email received 9/9 @ 3:31AM EST
- Original ship date 9/23
- I live in KY by the way
I had no updates until today, my preorder.verizonwireless.com status page now shows expected shipping date 9/18. I haven't been able to track via reference yet on either UPS or Fedex using the LOCATION_000ORDERNUMBER format but I've tried about 15 times
I also went to Target yesterday and they had several 7's but no 7+'s. One interesting thing, my neighbor ordered 1 minute before me and got his on launch day. Our orders were slightly different, he got a 7+ MB 128 and a 7 RG 128. He is also a current customer while I am coming from AT&T. My conspiracy theory has been that they were prioritizing current customers for launch day delivery but who knows... Good luck everyone!
Unfortunately the $650 promotional only applies to when purchased at the carrier store and not from Apple Store. But I would think you can still take it over to Verizon and see if they can honor that portion? I don't know.
I think that's a good sign. I've heard of that happening before shipment info is updated. I have the same config.
I asked a friend who is a manager at a local Verizon store and she said they can't honor that promo with a phone bought from Apple. I had wondered the same.
So if I am able to make a reservation at an Apple Store, I can get the phone through the Verizon device payment plan?
My original expected ship date was 10/05. Preordered around 3:10AM EST with confirmation email 3:10am EST. For a week, it has been saying 11/23 as the expected ship date. Right now, it bumped up to 9/23. Hoping to see 7+ Jet Black rolling out soon.

Went to a verizon store on 9/9 about 5PM EST. Preordered a 7+ Matte black 128gb. I was given a ship date of 10/05. Still no movement. I am doing the monthly payment and am turning in my 6s in.

To those of you who have gotten their phone, can I expect mine within the next two days? 611 says my order has shipped and will be arriving in 1-2 business days, and www.preorder.verizonwireless.com moved my ship date to today. However, I have no tracking number and when I click the "Check Your Status" button in my email conformation, it says my expected ship date is still in October.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So if you really want the promo to be applied, then you really need to get it from VZN website or from the VZN Corporate store.
This happened to me as well when I checked 5min ago; the delivery by date is gone and only says processing. I only ordered the phone today over the phone with Verizon.
How do you make a reservation at the Apple store to see if they have the iPhone you want? I always order through the carrier.My local apple store had the phone I wanted so I came to pick it up and now I'm waiting for the cancellation of my Verizon order to go through. It was still showing that I had an order with them. Also, for those of you who were asking, yes, the Verizon Monthly Payment Plan can be done in the Apple Store. That's what I'm doing
FYI for any matte black 7+ 256GB I had my CC charged this AM with a ship date of 9/18. I ordered 9/9 at 12:35 AM Pacific Time with initial ship date of 9/28. No carrier information yet, but I assume it will arrive mid-week.
