Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Verizon Pre-Order Thread

I order 128gb Jet Black 13min after the go live for the order and I received an email

Order Date: 09/09/2016
Deliver By: 10/05/2016

however at the website it shows a different delivery date:
Status
We received your order and it is in process.
Expected ship date
10/26/2016

anyone with the same issue?

i actually ordered that same model the first time and had that same exact issue with the two dates. i called and the rep told me that 10/26 was probably the correct date because of how many orders were coming in at once. so i ended up cancelling and ordering the matte black which has a ship and delivery date of 9/23.

I ordered the exact same a little sooner than that and my email says 10/05/2016 but the website says 9/23/2016. Everyone seems to be confident we'll get it release day though :rolleyes:

[doublepost=1473625337][/doublepost]Yes, typically the higher storage capacity iPhones sell out first then the ship times start slipping. Usually if you wait more than 24 hours ship times jump past 5-6 weeks

they never get the phones? not for delivery pre-orders anyway.. it all comes direct from the assembly line or whatever the last process is. Goes to Cali for some quality assurance and will ship out to your final UPS/Fedex sort facilities closest to you and sit there over night... reps have no idea, they are uninformed and say things that they 'hear' are true.. the salt is listening to them in the beginning. this is no means a shot on them tho, great people.. most anyway
 
i just got off the phone with a rep and she just straight up said "no there is no chance that your phone will be delivered on the 16th if your expected delivery date is the 23rd because a lot of people were ordering phones at 3am"
 
I ordered a 7 plus 128gb in jet black and got confirmation at 12:17 AM PDT and I have an expected ship date of 10/12 yet a delivery by date of 10/05. Verizon's system is definitely messed up.
 
Just went back and very briefly skimmed through last years Verizon pre-order thread. The same thing seems to have happened last year, with 6S pre-orders getting charged and assigned tracking info before 6S Plus orders.

What sucks about this is someone has to be home to accept the package, but I don't know what day to plan to be home. The estimated 23rd, or the (hopefully) 16th? Somewhere in between?
 
Took awhile for the website to finally load but I ended up getting mine within 15 mins, Black 7 128GB. Deliver by date in email from Verizon is 9/16.
 
I ordered 2 128gb iPhone 7s around 4am EST 9/9 and my card was just charged (taxes etc) this morning 9/11 at 10:45am.

I got a spigen liquid crystal for mine. Want to see that nice matte black design! I'll also get an Apple leather case sometime soon too.

Because there's quite a few Apple stores in my area, I've learned to just purchase those on launch day.

Those things never sell out in store.
