Just took a drive with 7 and 5S and both had Waze running. 7 went to no service about 10min into drive for about 3min. 5S stayed at LTE with 3 bars the whole time. Turns out 5S doesn't have voice over LTE so I'm now convinced this is the issue.

Hmmm. I don't have VoIP enabled on my plan (company does not have it enabled for account) and I noticed the same drop issue.

I can't say if it will help us on VZW but T-Mobile pushed out carrier update 25.2 and people are reporting that it fixed their issues. Hopefully VZ will get on the ball and push out 25.2 as well.

Has anyone tried changing sim cards and does that fixed the issue? One VZW rep I spoke with would like me to try that, but if it doesn't fix the problem, then I do not want to go through the hassle.

Same issue here with a 7 plus

Would love to know if anyone tried one of the public betas to see if that resolved the issue

I was having the same issue. It was fixed for me with a new sim and resetting network settings. I didn't have any trouble coming home. I'll test it out more next week. When I'm in my normal work routine.

Well I want to give a update, so I went to the apple store and the genius looked at my phone and I told him my issue and he asked me if I did some the steps they recommend and checked to make sure they were done, then he said they would replace the phone, as did Verizon but he says apple does not have a fix yet. So I took his offer and they are ordering me a replacement white box phone, and he said it could take up to 2 weeks at least.

Has the majority of No Service scenarios occur when the device is traveling? For example, my device has only been impacted when in transit. Maybe we are dealing with a tower handoff issue. Just thinking out loud.

Happened at my house today sitting in one spot

But my house is literally right in between two cell sites. Not sure if that's related or not

Usually. My issues only occur when I'm at work. The local network is absolutely horrible all of a sudden with my iPhone 7 whereas the 6 had zero issues. I get like 8 Mbps down on LTE, and it jumps from 1x to 3G a lot. Once I leave like a 20 mile radius, like go home for the night, my signal is much better, full LTE bars and 50-60 Mbps. Other people in north NJ are having the issue too when they drive through. I'm convinced it's not only a software issue but also a network issue localized to this area I'm in.

I've sent Verizon the field test mode screen shots of how bad it was, they said "oh 8mb/s isn't bad". I'm like no you bumbling fool, MEGABITS. 8 is piss poor for LTE. Sigh.
