I would imagine it is the ATT model, as it is whatever they gave me at the Apple Store when I said I was on AT&T. Connected it to my service in store. Is your phone the ATT model or Verizon?
EDIT: yeah, it says A1778 on the regulatory screen

My phone is for T-Mobile. I haven't seen any fix for my devices.
Makes things interesting because you have a different chipset (Intel). All my ATT testing has been done on a Verizon (Qualcomm) model.
Hi there,iOS 10.1 beta 2 updated Verizon's carrier version from 25.5 to 26.0.
Hi there,
I've updated my A1661 model VZW 7+ to iOS 10.1 Beta 2, build 14B55c, and I'm still on carrier version 25.5, and even plugging the phone into iTunes doesn't yield an update to 26.0. How did you get on that version? Lots of outdoor areas where I usually would drop are now back to normal, some with better reception then ever.
Having this problem on my regular iPhone 7 on AT&T. Get one dot in my house that sometimes goes down to No Service in my pocket. iPhone 6 gets two dots in my house and never lost service.
My 7 loses service while driving the same road I drove for 2 years with the 6. It just lost service in the grocery store.
Tried all the "fixes" and still happening. Sometimes I'll have my phone in my pocket, my Apple Watch will ding and I check it to see 5 texts in a row.
Not like I live completely off the beaten path... I'm watching Disney World's fireworks on my back porch right now.
EDIT: I really wish sites would stop reporting this as a problem with only the 7+ or only Verizon networks. I've seen tons of others complaining and we all need a fix!
My signal now at work keeps bouncing between 2-4 dots of LTE then crashes to no service out of nowhere then to full 3G. I would brush it off as low LTE signal causing it to drop to 3G at a certain threshold, but if I can get 3-4 dots of LTE, what's causing it to jump down randomly?
Interference with antenna can cause that(poor antenna design)

Sounds like that's still 10.1 beta 1.That's strange it's supposed to be bundled with the iOS update. Usually you can invoke it by going to the general settings menu.

How do you update from beta 1 to beta 2??I have build 14B67 with carrier update 26.0.
Currently it's for developers only; there isn't yet a public beta of 10.2 beta 2.How do you update from beta 1 to beta 2??
While I'm doubting this is an antenna design problem, I'll still share a stray observation...
I've noticed that my iPhone 7 causes interference noise on my studio monitor speakers that are well grounded with a ground loop isolator. I'm not THAT techy, so it is just an observation, as I haven't heard those characteristic cell phone blips breaking into my speakers in years.

As someone else has stated in a thread earlier, I highly doubt Apple would go down the bad antenna path again.
FWIW, signal does seem better on beta 2. Still testing...
