Just drove the same highway I drive to work with my wife's 6S in the car. Continuously checked both phones and they both had the same signal strength of LTE. So maybe beta 2 is helping.

Let's hope so

Hopefully this will be solved soon. Sitting on the sideline waiting until it is fixed.
How I feel too, I'll be getting two 7 plus phones. There's no way I'm going to spend almost two grand and hope they work. Most of my friends local to me have issues, so I'm not buying until it's resolved.

Kind of sucks being at the mercy of two large companies hoping they resolve our issues with a piece of technology that a lot of us depend on. Hope the fix comes soon.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but I'm a AT&T user. Brand new 7+. Cell service worked for my 20 minute ride home from Apple Store. Hasn't connected to network since. Have tried everything - restoring, new sim car, etc. will not connect to network. I can take I out and put it in my 6+ and works perfect.

Same here.

To everyone:

I'm wondering if the second or third batch of Iphone 7s will come out after Black Friday? Does anyone know? I'm asking because I'm wondering if Apple makes corrections to these second or third batches. Thank you

I just got off a phone with Senior Rep with Apple, he said that is a well known issue for this Model # with Verizon. Engineers are working around the clock to fix this issue. Unfortunately this has only been known issue for about a week and half, as it took Verizon forever to actual go to Apple with these issues. Going to 3G only seems to have no issues.

I was talking to a Verizon sales rep and he said that his cell phone was fast but it was only showing 3G.

So if engineers are still working on the issue, how can B2 show positive results? Just curious is all.

I'm not sure if it's related but my 6s plus is acting the same way, loses LTE, low signal. Is it the 7 itself or the operating system?

Does Apple not test their phones on these networks prior to selling them? I don't buy that Apple excuse. If they don't test their phones prior to turning them over to Verizon, that's on Apple, because they should have seen these issues from the start.

Welcome to carrier politics. Verizon is one of the most difficult ones out there when it comes to their network, how it works, what's allowed on the network, all the way down to where the logo is on the phones it sells. Sound like another company you know? Hint: you're using their phone.

Put two of the most powerful, self-righteous and arrogant companies together in a room and try and get them to mutually acknowledge there's an issue? Good luck.

The issue has been acknowledged through the feedback from many representatives. The solution isn't quite there unfortunately.

Having issues with iPhone 7 on Verizon. Earlier today I walked out of my apartment where I use wifi for data and calls. Halfway down the block I looked at my phone and it said "No Service." Had to toggle airplane mode and it went to full 5 bars LTE.

Driving the other day same thing - using Waze on the PA Turnpike which has strong VZW LTE pretty much end to end. Out of nowhere the phone went to No Signal, and Waze started throwing errors about no GPS signal.

Well, not quite the same as a proper public acknowledgment. Both sides are silent when it comes to an official "yeah there's a problem".

If it's a carrier update, it'll just get pushed out. I would be surprised if Verizon would say anything else, other than to tell their support channels to tell people to wait for an update and install it.
If it's baked into an iOS update, Apple will probably say something benign like "bug fixes and improvements".

T-Mobile on the other hand... far more transparent in handling their iPhone issues.

Apple is a company that is so secretive with their iPhone that carriers can't even use them to test their network until Apple releases them to the public. Apple does all the testing and wants no other hands on their phones prior to release for fear some Verizon employee will lose it or post photos of it prior to release. I guarantee Apple did discover this issue prior to release and told Verizon to fix it by the release date as there would be no delay. In other words, Apple is running the show. Do as they say or you will not sell their phone.

It's almost getting to the point that if it was easy as a carrier update, it would've happened by now. So there could be more to it. Maybe a modem driver between Qualcomm and Apple needs updated? I'm just saying, there has to be more to it.

Ultimately the important thing is that they are aware of it and working on figuring it out and fixing it. But, yes, a public statement in addition to that would be better.

Only reason I can't see a public statement is because Apple is feeding off the negative media on the Note 7. Heck, even the recall replacements might need to be recalled.

If it's the chip itself, then you have a mess. You will have 3 companies trying to communicate with each other trying to figure out the problem.

What's disturbing is that issue has been going on for 23 days now. If there was a quick fix, it would have occurred by now.

Just installed ios 10.1 beta 2 on iphone 7 plus 256 gb. I actually got slower speeds. Carrier 26.0. Updated from ios 10.0.2
Brutal
