A little OT but I downgraded from 10.1 beta 3 to 10.0.3 (seems good so far). Did the restore & everything.

But now my phone is telling me Beta 4 is available for download. Is this normal? If I'm back on the regular OS, I assume it shouldn't be telling me the update is available. Any way to disable?

Normal because you got the profile installed. Mine shows the same thing.

I'm very pleased to report that iOS 10.0.3 fixed the "No Signal" issue for me. As I mentioned in a previous post, I can replicate this problem in a specific section of my work. I've gone through that area multiple times now with no failure in signal. Additionally, the phone is quick to find signal at wireless-enabled subway stations here in NYC.

Performance is at least on par with, if not better than, my iPhone 6.

10.0.3 seems to have worked for me too.

The LTE problem had all but disappeared for me on its own in the last week or two here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I can confirm that this update does not fix the issue. Currently bouncing between LTE, No Service, and 3G. Still having to toggle airplane mode multiple times to actually get cellular service working in places where other iPhones work fine.

What a disaster.

My experience with the 10.0.3 patch was better until this afternoon. It appears as if holding the LTE signal is quite the effort for my phone. It will have 4 bars of LTE and randomly drop to 3G. The 3G signal will have 2 - 3 bars. It will find the LTE signal again but it takes a bit. The software tweak they rolled out did resolve some stability but it isn't like the 6s. I hate to say it but I am wondering if we are dealing with a hardware issue.

Edit: Just a note, I did flip airplane mode on and off, phone went to LTE right away.

I am sorry to hear that 10.0.3 has not fixed the problem for some folks. So far it has fixed my issues both at home and along my hour and twenty minute commute where I would lose signal between 3 and 4 times on 10.0.2. I hope future updates help to a greater extent.

Still super slow speeds on newest Beta 10.1.
Not sure why I switched to Verizon from Att

I honestly see no difference between beta 4 and 10.0.3. None whatsoever. I'm gonna just install the beta again.

Speeds are fantastic with beta 4 here in NJ since beta 2 the issue has been gone for me people still having issues should try the beta

I finally broke down on Saturday and picked up a 7, and had no issues what-so-ever. I'm in North Jersey, Sussex County to be precise. Spent the day running errands, went down to Wayne, then Morristown so I was in some of the same areas that have reported issues and I was fine. No issues at home either. I updated to the "fix" just in case, but I was good prior. Hopefully everyone gets their issues resolved, I feel for everybody, this stinks!

So 10.1.4 beta (& 10.1.3) has vastly improved the problem. No more no service etc.

However, when it does lose signal, it takes a very long time to restore LTE. It can say 1G for 2 minutes and I just toggle airplane mode and instantly finds LTE.

Something is still unresolved.

With beta 4, I still have issues connecting to LTE after leaving my apartment which has WiFi. If I toggle airplane mode and leave it off for a few seconds, the phone connects to LTE instantly. I'm in NYC.

Same here also NYC on beta 4 10.1

Oddly, I had this issue 1 year ago in the Fall of 2015 with a brand new iPhone 6S on iOS 9. Almost every time I left my house (where I would be on wifi), the phone would seemingly lose its ability to get data. It would display "LTE", but I couldn't actually USE data on Verizon's network. I had to toggle airplane mode on/off to get a useable data connection - doing so would completely fix the issue until the next time my phone was on a wifi network. My wife's brand new iPhone 6S did NOT have this same issue - only mine. Both iPhones were set up as "new" devices - not from a backup.

Anyway, I ended up doing a DFU restore on the iPhone 6S (setting it up again as a "new" phone) and this fixed my issue completely. It almost seemed like the iOS installation was flawed from the factory.

I only bring this up in an attempt to help - a DFU restore of iOS could potentially fix your issue. Worth a try perhaps.
