That leaves you with just 30GB space when games like real racing 3 occupy 3-4GB so it’s only a couple of em and your phone is done

I use my phone to earn a dollar mostly, not to play car games on, my 8 64GB has 51 gb free. I use iCloud for photos/video, where all different.

Even Apple doesn’t have an answer as apart from the iPhone all their recent devices have the jack. The only reason it was removed was to annoy customers into buying the Aiprods.

How is it enough? You are paying a 1000 dollars for a phone with 4K 60 recording which in a couple of videos over a few months and taking photos will end up consuming 20-30 gigs easily. That leaves you with just 30GB space when games like real racing 3 occupy 3-4GB so it’s only a couple of em and your phone is done.

128GB would have been the nice sweet spot

It’s not. Where did you come up with this number? It’s $300 cheaper than the iPhone as it has a MicroSD slot.

It is see links above. do you read previous posts or just chime in on the end?

You mean in your opinion. In my opinion a Samsung N8/S8 is worth half the cost of a iPhone, the S8 is already and the N8 is on the way.

I only need a 200 dollar Android phone to do more than what any iPhone does and the Android OS most likely would run smoothly compared to jerky iOS. Now that's my opinion. So your iPhone is really worth 200.00 in my mind.

I have a 256GB iPhone 7 Plus and have 120GB free on it with all the stuff I have installed on it.

64GB is not enough. Apart from the photos videos and apps, even cache memory on those apps takes up huge amounts of storage. For instance the Google app on its own easily takes over 1Gb after a few months.

In that case, I've got this piece of land I'd like to sell you. It's not as big as other plots, and it's got this permanent hole in an odd spot that will get in the way of building anything on it. But guess what? Everyone will know it's your plot of land because no other plot of land looks like it. Most plots in this neighborhood go for around 700Gs, but I'm selling you this magical and amazing plot for $1 million. Deal!

If my phone was my livelihood I’d want more than 64GB of space.

My phone is mainly a phone you know to take calls, messages, check email when out, photos, works for me where all different.
Not into games FB and insta.

64GB is not enough.

Sure for you but works for me. I use a 64GB iPad pro too, cheaper to use iCloud with 20% discount $3.50 here a month. which i only need for photos/video.

And you can get a MicroSD for a fraction of the cost with more storage.

Its 2017, wouldn't bother with those would just buy a 256gb if i wanted more storage, but thats right you cant with a Note 8 unless you live in Asia.
So you have no counter apart from “LOL it’s 2017. MicroSD are so 2012”.

I would be glad if you explained to me just how the iPhone X is “worth” double the Note 8.

I don’t understand why we have to bother with adapters. What was wrong with that horrible headphone jack? And if something was wrong with it why do the 2017 iPads and Macs still have it?

There is no 32. It’s either 64 or 256. 128GB was the sweet spot. They eliminated that and it’s either you get a paltry amount of storage or overkill.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the headphone jack. Removing it was Apple's way of growing profit. Simple.

Not seeing that at all on my 7 Plus. Battery life is the same as it was on iOS 11.0.1.

Yup. But I would have compromised for the iPhone X since it’s so damn expensive.

Would be like buying a brand new car with no sat nav/bluetooth and having to buy a Garmin and stick it on the window.
And the comparison between a Note 8 and iPhone X is just that. Do you want a car with no navigation or a car with a farming stuck to the Windows at a lower price?

Most new car sales are without the nav option, but the sat receiver is still there. And being that nowadays most cars will include Android Auto, Car Play, or both, means spending money on a nav option is pretty much worthless(unless it already comes with the premium package you want). And especially since most car nav software sucks.

I think you just like to argue for the sake of it, i mean you don't even own a Note 8 and you argue as if you do, you own a 7 plus and cant even agree on anything with it. Please.

Still trying to figure out how i only have 19GB left on my 7 plus 256GB when my photos are saved to iCloud. I know with an SD card this won’t be an issue as it seems like all my photos are still going against my current storage
